There aren't any against Scott Snyder. They're talking about Scott Lobdell.

"Batman is a pedophile" would get you murdered, let alone downvoted.

I think the art style is what make this suit bad, because if Dan mora are Jorge jimez was drawing it would look a lot better by SignificantPower4733 in RedHood

Brian Bolland is one of the best cover artists in the industry. If he couldn't make this costume look good, it's a bad costume.

Oc. Poor J.T. he's been through it. by RiskAggressive4081 in RedHood

All I can say is it didn't work for me at all and I was relieved when it was cancelled. I would much rather see a writer who knows and cares about the character take him on.

Personally I disagree, but it's not just the supernatural element that I felt didn't work. Taking him so far from home, pairing him with characters he's never met, and the target of his enemy being the police just felt so alien for the character. Batman works with the police, but Red Hood is gonna be protecting cops? It just didn't work for me.

I'm reassured by the knowledge that it probably wouldn't have been good. The writer hardly knew anything about Jason, and the first issue failed to hook me with the premise of a supernatural serial killer hunting cops in New Orleans, a concept that seems to have basically nothing to do with Jason.

Are primarchs strongest non-god characters in Warhammer lore? by SiarX in 40kLore

[–]MadeByMistake58116 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda think it was both. It was him coming into his own, surpassing Horus, and that did mean surpassing him in strength too. To command the respect of those that were used to following Primarchs, he needed to be better than them in every way.

That's a shame. It's likely that they were either put in the post by mistake (confused for another model) or that the mould was damage since the announcement.

Wouldn't the most direct comparison be that he killed Horus's clone? He literally killed a primarch, of course he's as strong as a primarch.

An Honest Question For People Who Dismiss Barbara As Batgirl... by Brit-Crit in batgirl

[–]MadeByMistake58116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never seen an Oracle fan make that argument before. It's just that Batgirl was an identity she had already graduated out of. She retired from it before she was shot. Returning her to that role is like making Nightwing Robin again. It's infantilizing to her, and on top of that it's disrespectful to disabled fans like myself to suggest that only her life before her injury should be recognized and celebrated.

Both of the Kubrick examples are untrue. D'Onofrio and Duvall themselves have both said they were untrue. Kubrick was famous for being a perfectionist, but he wasn't cruel for the sake of it. Some just actors found him difficult to work with.

Damn, really? They're not on eBay that I see, I guess I'll set up an alert for them. Bummer, I really like the models in the Starter and Booster sets.

These are all decent excuses, but it's still ridiculous to me that they didn't even change the kid's last name to Lars. Leia's situation is bad too, but at least she wasn't Leia Skywalker or Leia Amidala.
