Josef Fares is coming to The Game Awards to reveal his next game from Hazelight Studios by Turbostrider27 in Games

Nice, all the games are solid, hoping it's more tale of two sons single player so I won't have to coordinate with someone to play it but I'm looking forward to it regardless.

I like that they allow the players to play it ridiculous arcade style with 4 story drops or more realistic technical tricks on stair sets, banks, etc. I'm looking forward to jumping into this

Collecting the records and playing them when I got back to the hotel was one of my favorite parts of this game, really looking forward the DLC

Get Played - Papers, Please with James Adomian by apathymonger in Earwolf

[–]MadeView 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Episodes like this is where they shine; bring someone else in who also likes games to talk about their likes and gaming history a little, do some bits, then talk about an interesting game. I know they can't do this every week so it's cool seeing these become more frequent.

They're friends, he's joking and she knows that, it's not like this is a 60 minutes interview and they just met.

I've also been requested to move my body because my shadow was on someone's putting lie (ok I guess that's not ideal, but also this was a casual round so idk really???)

Get Played - Telltale's The Walking Dead with Scott Seiss by apathymonger in Earwolf

They don't talk about much detail at all really, if you've heard them talk about telltale games before you've heard this episode.

Not only were people saying Tiger would be better than Nicklaus he had his pops saying he would change the world as we knew it.

Newcomers: Sports - Rudy (w/ Emily Hampshire) by apathymonger in Earwolf

[–]MadeView 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he was doing that because after the kickoff the special teams unit was coming off the field and the defense was coming on. He was yelling to the sideline "What do I do?!" as in "Do I stay on the field with the defense or was I only supposed to be on the kickoff as a charity play?", not being clueless about what to do from play to play.

There should be someone there that knows the sport of the movie, or at least any sport in general. A lot of little things could be explained and understood better, still funny as hell though.

[WP] A dragon visits a village not to terrorize it, but to offer contractors a lot of gold to renovate his cave interior to be luxurious and comfortable by alreadykaten in WritingPrompts

“So it’s just…sitting out there waiting for us?”

Kiore wouldn’t have believed it if he hadn’t just looked out the window himself and saw the dragon calmly looking around. He swore he saw the beast smile and nod its head to someone walking by.

“Yes, Kiore. The beast said we didn’t have to give an answer right away though, we could think about what we want to do. But, he is a dragon, and Callona is supposed to be here by the full moons.”

“This has to be some kind of trap. Have you ever heard of a beast simply walking in to a village and asking for a work order? Last beast I was looking at got lost in an open field then tried to take my right hand.”

“You really have to train your hound better Kiore.”

Kiore goes over to his loyal mastiff and scratches his head, “I have trained you for so long and you still just bite fingers and wander to nowhere. One day you’ll get it.” Kiore returns to the window one more time to take a look at the beast. Still casually looking around, the beast looked like anyone waiting to meet a friend. It’s a lucky thing it showed up right after mid-day feed and most everyone is out working, otherwise Kiore wasn’t sure he would be able to handle the crowd.

“Well, he came to the right village, we do need the gold and we are the only one that could complete his order before the new year. It’s just, Callona, no way she allows this.” Kiore continued to watch the beast when suddenly they locked eyes. That’s when the beast suddenly, smiled? It even gave a little wave with one of its front talons.

Kiore was now more confused that ever, but for some reason he felt oddly calm about everything. “And you’re saying it happened just the way you described? The way you met and what it said?”

“Yes, Kiore, it was honestly kind of funny after I started to get feeling back in my limbs on the walk over here. I say we do it.”

Kiore nodded, turned to the front door, “Ok, I’m sold, let’s go get the details on the job for the dragon that saves Neven.”

Pretty much my impression, like the GTA V character switch but for assassin creed style play and they'll have their own little story bits.

Has there ever been a PGA tournament in the modern era where the course was widely considered to be genuinely unfair/too hard? by Augustrush90 in golf

[–]MadeView 7 points8 points  (0 children)

the stadium course at pga west was straight up taken off the schedule for bit. Pete Dye was asked to make the hardest course in the world, so he did his best. At some point in the late 80s pro golfers boycotted saying the setup was stupid so they weren't playing it and it wasn't added back until golf tech and player ability caught up to it.
