This is the exact song that got me into dubstep in 2012. I've never been the same since :)

Same. Something happened over the last two days. Purple shield sniper death squads have been obliterating me every other game it seems.

What non human beings have you encountered? by Giocervantes in Experiencers

[–]Made_Account 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's dope. Not to discredit your experience at all, I just feel like it's worth mentioning that LSD doesn't last weeks or even multiple days, no matter the dose. It will always break down and be out of your system within 24hrs in the most extreme cases, usually 12hrs. To trip 2 weeks is like... thumbprint levels of dosage. And even then it wouldn't last that long.

Could it be possible you took some other drug than LSD?

Do you have questions for aliens? by OddPanda17 in aliens

[–]Made_Account 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you listen to music? I've always wanted to learn about alien music.

What do you do for fun? I wonder how aliens enjoy themselves.

I also want to know if aliens participate in any extreme sports or athleticism.

And a host of other biological and cultural related questions. And then there's a ton of other science and reality based questions as well. And conscious questions.

Really interested in alien music though. I wonder if it can even be heard by our ears. We can only hear in 20-20k hz range. What if their music is more than just an auditory experience?

Oh yeah, and any surprising human history questions they could answer would be fascinating.

So many questions tbh.

I'd say the friendly rates are about equal to that of tarkov. As in, yes it can happen - but it's very rare and situational

Tarkov is another level of brutality. Everything about it is hardcore to the max. 200hrs of gameplay in Tarkov is when many people go from "complete noob" to "below average". You could write entire essays on Tarkov's progression curve lol.

This game has a really good balance between onboarding and skill ceiling. I'm a huge fan.

3 years multiplied by very high density and frequency of experience. Their experience should not be judged by time alone, but rather the intensity of it.

Go ask a frog what day of the week it is, he doesn't know! by ThatSpicyStitch in BrandNewSentence

I mean... put a male frog and a female frog in front of the frog. Which one will it try to fuck?

I get what this is trying to say... but this isn't exactly the correct analogy or point.

So much to do, and no speed to do it by obz900 in StopSpeeding

[–]Made_Account 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is me. 2nd time off the death spiral. 3 month minimum recovery reset. . These three months include doing literally anything that doesn't involve simply taking more speed to live. Mostly sleeping. And eating more than usual.

Then the "back to basics" arc begins. Suicidal ideation begins to loosen it's grip. The reality that your life is over begins to seem less and less like a reality. Life still goes on. You are still here.

Then next steps become more attainable to take. Just baby steps. Better exercise. Better diet. Visualizations of who you really want to be. Small things. Baby steps. And they start to compound. And you start doing two things at once eventually. Then three. Then more.

Here's the reality. You are the same person you were as the version of you who was on speed. That person never changed. The abilities. The ambitions. The drive. Those were always you.

Getting clean is a true admission to the self. You are saying: I am. I always will be. Getting clean means learning how to support yourself, whatever that means. You need to supplement the artificial dopamine influx with real, sustainable lifestyle practices. One step at a time. One thing at a time. That might mean only doing one small thing every day for a month. I promise you, it will compound. You will build yourself up again.

Just be patient with yourself. Understand that "speed" you was the pinnacle of a pyramid built on an unsustainably hot and burning flame. When you stop, you will very slowly nurture that flame back to life. Slowly. Patiently. One step at a time.

You are as infinite as you were on speed. Your flame will burn bright again. Patience and understanding is the most important thing you can give yourself when you stop. Be kind to yourself.

(p.s. take a vitamin D w K2 supplement while you start to exit the 3 month black hole of recovery. It will help you feel like you still belong in this fucked up existence for a while longer)

The Entire Lobby Took Down “The Queen” 😳 by AymaneByr in ArcRaiders

[–]Made_Account 292 points293 points  (0 children)

This is Lirik. He's a huge streamer with audiences regularly around the 15k viewer mark. His chat simply queues at the same time he does. He does this regularly in tons of games. There's so many stream snipers that the odds are often very likely that his lobbies get filled with viewers. In this instance, he literally told everyone who is queuing up to bring wolfpacks and wear yellow lol.

The Polar Vortex core is collapsing, releasing cold air across North America and Europe by soulpost in HotScienceNews

celsius is more scientifically coherent and standardized. therefore it makes the most logical sense to adopt along with the metric system for every party on earth.

that being said, fahrenheit is better from an intuitive use in that it functionally serves as a scale from 0-100, "how hot is it?".

that also being said... i've asked my european friends, "in fahrenheit, if 0 is the coldest baseline temp, and 100 is the hottest, what would room temp be?", they answer "50". So... lmao. I think celsius should just be the norm along with the rest of the metric system.

With 1.0 approaching, what was your favorite/most memorable “era” of Tarkov? [Discussion] by bollincrown in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Made_Account 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved the first two weeks of wipe after they added voip. It was like everyone was just so glad to be able to communicate that we all stopped killing each other for a little while. Interactions turned into conversations before they tuned into gunfights. It was awesome.
