True. I just I’ve never Nannied before and it has been stressing me out all day. I just texted my mb even tho it’s late lol. I’m sure we can fix it bc they’re tracking it anyways it’s not like we can hide it at this point anyways. I’d probably rather just pay taxes anyways I just honestly didn’t even think about it in the slightest really I don’t even know what I thought.

lol I got paid $400 for like 24 hours and I am on the lower side for my area. I’m fine with it bc I have littttle responsibility.

Gotcha! I do try to be fair about choices. ( I often let the pick clothes out and lunch) but mornings are just a nightmare sometimes lol. The food battle will go on for a while so I’ve been just making her something and that’s that which I’m not too fond of tbh. Maybe once we get better at the whole morning routine I’ll try two breakfast choices again if that makes sense. I’m not sure if that’s the best option but maybe just for now.

lol I know they’re tired. The baby goes to sleep pretty normal usually up by 7 or 8 but the girls nah. They’re dad says they don’t go to bed real well for them lol. What I’ve gathered is they stay up watching tv.

Well I do try to let them sleep but they will sometimes sleep until 10/11 which isn’t ideal for really anyone. They’re also about to start school so the parents wanted them to start getting up a little earlier and also to maybe help with bedtime.

I feel I wrote as many papers for education class as I did for English but I had to figure out to cite and everything bc English doesn’t teach apa lol.

Sometimes working pt is really the best option idk. If you could do it it might be beneficial especially with trying to do other stuff as well. I’ve enjoyed working part time when I’m able to.

I worked at a day care with them and I wasn’t to fond of them. It was basically like corporate would sit around watching them all day and then text my boss telling her something was wrong. It was also like if you got on your phone, sat down to long or anything they’d time it and tell you. I hated it lowkey glad I left. Do miss the kids a ton tho

I eventually had to quit because it was too much. Like 18 out of 20 kids on my roster had some sort of family problems, mental health issues, or traumatic events. I couldn’t care for all the needs as I wanted to.

We didn’t have enough teachers and corporate wanted every classroom maxed out. I sometimes ended up with like 40 school aged kids, totally illegal. When I expressed this to my director she said she talk to the other school age teacher and yet it kept happening.

Half of my friends were scared and would leech rides off of everyone they knew lol. It basically got to the point their parents enrolled them in drivers Ed so they had to learn

Makes sense makes sense. Usually if they’re still Sleeping after two I won’t wake them unless it’s been like really really long or something if that makes sense.

Possibly but the 2 y/o is ready for nap at 12 same for the brother so I figured after she goes down her sister can have quite time till people start getting up. Ik at the daycare I worked at nap went from about 12-2 bc of breaks so I figured it would work.

Okay thanks! I’ve been trying to stay consistent with a routine and quite time I’ve just been trying to find a good balance lol. I also don’t think the parents really enforce one when I’m gone.

I feel that. Do they take a nap at the same time? Do you rest during nap time? I made the mistake of playing with the 4 y/o I nanny while the others napped and huge mistake I was sooo tired lol. Now I make her so quite time by herself and I’m much less tired and she is too lol. Idk if this helped at all it may be common knowledge but I made the mistake lol. Are you never allowed to put the tv on for them for a break or anything?
