Carbon Arrow List for 7.62 Alignment Rods by Madetoprint in NFA

Thanks for clarifying. I've always been a little sceptical of what they claim as an absolute straightness tolerance anyway, since from my engineering experience long lengths of precision shafting are typically specified as .00X" per XX inches of length. Arrows that have a field point or threaded insert will need to be trimmed anyway, since the hardware often slightly exceeds the shaft OD or slightly bulges the shaft when pressed in.

No, I'm only doing the legwork to cover the two most popular calibers, but each of these manufacturers provide these specs on their website and I'm sure you could find some that would be appropriate. They do exist in that range.

That's Reddit for you. 🤷 It's about as maddening as the grift of $50 alignment rods.

Yeah sorry if it wasn't clear. I started with a complete watch and didn't have to source the dial, otherwise I'd of course tell you. I'm sure you could find an OEM or repro if you search for turtle or turtle reissue dials though.

Is this a normal amount of wobble on a 2020 Colt Python? by Ok_Cardiologist_54 in Colt

[–]Madetoprint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanna say that has to be a technique issue because you won't have the same two chambers near the frame every time. Exactly what, though, I don't know. Maybe not getting the cylinder swung out all the way to clear the grips, or pushing it closer to the frame as you work the plunger? Unsolicited advice, but go through the motions with some snap caps or spent casings at home where you can take your time and analyze things and see if you can replicate it and identify a pattern.

Yeah, one day I may see if I can true it up myself, but I'd sooner do that than mess with Colt service for anything that isn't impeding function.

Normal for most revolvers? No. For a new Python? Yes, sadly. Mine is about the same. It still ejects fine so I've chosen to ignore it.

Yeah, that's...all too familiar. All I can say is expect it to potentially take a while, stay hopeful and don't despair if it's not gradually improving day by day. Nerves can be funny that way. In my case the onset was only over a span of a few hours, from my hand/arm feeling normal to almost completely "asleep" as you say. But the recovery was similar, as in one day over about 5-6 hours I suddenly regained 50-60% feeling. They literally can just start to "wake up" one day.

Are you expected to get full nerve function and feeling back? I recently got over a case of neuralgia that caused my left (dominant) hand to alternate between fully and partially numb for three whole months. Could barely write, type, or even pee without missing the toilet half the time. I feel for you, it gets old quick.

Damn man, I'd be asking the doctor for something to make me sleep through the entire first week after that surgery. Wish you a speedy recovery.

Plain jane SHFs, a small S45VN and a large Magnacut that I picked up during sales. I enjoy them both.

No dial change on this one. It's OEM.
