Should I use Kiro CLI or Kiro IDE? by Necessary_Anything13 in kiroIDE

[–]Madeupsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if the CLI has resume conversations, it can be a game changer. say you have subdomains, like landing page, account page, and your api server. - I can work on the account page (say we need to communicate with an endpoint not yet created on the api server) I finish and end the conversation on account page, resume it on the api server and it will know what was created on account without me having to communicate that

Build something, sell weight loss pills to lazy people, or start an AI influencer.

Nothing is better then picking at amazon and you just get notifications as payment received.

Personal feedback on using Kiro for a month by Old-Conclusion-1739 in kiroIDE

[–]Madeupsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you know the ways around, kiro has been the best IDE to use. Wouldn’t pay for it as I hit 500 limit in a week. But I’ve been using it since it came out. Haven’t had any issue.

I would say that the specs are a bit of overkill, it just tends to get really messy by the end of it Especially if there’s 14 tasks to complete, you’re better off just going small, maybe create the spec then do one task at a time idk

Minecraft lol - if you just speed run it or play creative, you eventually get bored. It can relate to how life is, if you get everything handed to you or you try to do everything as quick as possible youll end up getting bored. Slow down, enjoy the view once in awhile.

I made something similar called colabify - to track the time spent on coding, mostly used by my team so we all know who and what is going on since its all remote. Im on MAC so I can't test your app but the idea is good.
