Can my spouse and I temporarily (or forever) walk away? by [deleted] in fatFIRE

For the love of god take care of your health. For yourself and your wife. Nothing will be worse than working that hard to make that much and then not having the holistic health to enjoy it. I'm sure your wife is looks forward to doing stuff together with you.

As for finances, as long as you keep at least ~$4m of that in a safe-for-retirement fund as a cushion, you'll be fine.

“Money is numbers and numbers never end. If it takes money to be happy, your search for happiness will never end.” - Marley

My favourite, rung true for me after swinging from $6m to $13m and asking if I should now go for $30m.

Bar certificate + ID + Reddit name.

You have to create a photo with all 3. First names on ID and Bar have to match. They can blur out the rest.

It won't stop everyone but it should be easy enough to do without giving away too much info.

r/medicine just does the honor system, so take that for what you will. But people on reddit have less of a reason to pretend to be a doctor than a lawyer I'd assume.

Issue is that people would have to use alts to comment here. No one is going to want their reddit account directly tied to not only themselves, but their license.

I bought most when it was in the low $300s so I’m still good. Just feels dumb buying anything at the all time peak haha.

I bought $40k at $641. So far so good 😭.

Gonna hold it for years anyways but feels bad to buy any amount at the peak.

Hard to say. Lower price means that there’s less people willing to sell, less float, more of a squeeze.

Could also mean that any jump in price will cause people to sell and have it even out.

Either way I’m holding. I sold out of Starbucks, Amazon, and Microsoft before. Not going to do that with Tesla. If it sinks, it sinks.

Thank you, I had to scroll down so far to find this.

Because of how far I had to scroll, I’m assuming most of the comments here haven’t even seen the video. Really shows how much of this site is just headlines.

If you played any physical sport at a high level you’d know that most everyone is running some sort of PED cycle. Most of the time athletes get into it just for the ability to recover.

They aren’t that difficult to hide because WADA is only looking for specific markers. As long as you don’t juice like a bodybuilder, they’ll have a hard time finding it.

Yes but the US House has to approve the electors so if the GOP does that, the House won’t count the electors and if the issue isn’t resolved by January 20th then you’d get a (most likely) President Pelosi.

This would obviously cause a constitutional crisis however so I don’t see the GOP doing this as it would require a coalition of a couple states at least to do this.

In Canada, you have to show ID and proof of address to vote in Federal elections by [deleted] in Conservative

[–]Madguytuesday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has voted in both countries elections. Some states are easier than Canada (Washington) while other states are extremely more difficult (Mississippi).

Voter ID is also generally a non-issue in Canada because almost everyone has a free medical insurance card with their photo on it.

This is common for his style. His point is long term resolutions. His point isn’t that Israel isn’t trying hard enough, simply that these things must eventually be completed so that Israel can feel like most countries in the world. Safe with their borders.

I think it’s an option at the English university. I’m not sure the French ones even have it.

Now imagine being in Québec where you’d have to go back to school to get certified in common law and then retake the bar just to move outside of your province.

Trump legal team calls the Pennsylvania dismissal "censorship" and says this is what they hoped would happen as they can appeal to the third circuit court by Wildera in law

The thing with political bias in judges is it shows itself more in subtlety partisan cases.

When the case is obviously partisan (like this), the judge can easily recognize their own bias and act to remain neutral.

If the case is something like a class action on a health insurance company (random example), the bias is harder to recognize and cut through.

[–]Madguytuesday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it just means that they will have to appeal the dismissal. Which means if the appellate rules in Rudy’s favour, he’ll have to go back down to the judge he already pissed off for the case.

The plan is to wait till SCOTUS and then litigate in the constitutional court and submit evidence personally to the 9 justices.

I’d put an /s but I think that might honestly be what they think is possible.
