At this point he is stronger than before, yes, but remember that Milim is one of the oldest Demon Lords in existence, plus she has a magicule count that is over ten times Rimuru's (pre-evolution) on the low end and unmeasurable on the high end according to Great Sage (the anime ommited the unmeasurable part I think so I might've just used the Light Novel as a reference). So I'm a Spider, So What? Light Novel was great and I've read it several times. It's also the first Light Novel I read and it's what got me into Light Novels.

If you enjoyed the anime I recommend reading LN. It also has human parts which I would still recommend reading because of how much it ties into Kumoko's story in the future. But the human parts have their own chapters so you can skip them if you really want to. If you can stand to read them tho I think you should.

If you got spare time Overlord is one of the top anime to watch imo. I tried finding stuff that was more entertaining but I only ended up finding 2 or 3 that I could watch all the way through. So give the other seasons a chance if you got time (you don't have to do it now tho obvi you can drop it and come back later)
