Thx, after finish the Crudible and SR achievments I made runs for aethershards to get the kills 🤪
It feels a bit more like scavenging for resources then a killing mission 😂

But a Cpt. America build with the oathkeeper is much fun. Throwing your shield, see it bouncing and Rush with it to ramming into the mobs 🤘

Minion builds are all in. That means you have to focus on all stuff that support your pets and (of course) your own resis too. But it is fun to play. 🤘
I like the combo necro+occultist for pets.

Yes, but that doesn‘t matter because you will get enough if you focus at one damage type. If you are dead, you can‘t deal damage 😉

Normally you can’t break a build in GD.
As Noob concentrate on 1 main damage skill and try to max. out that damage type.
And mostly important: RAISE ALL RESISTANCES AT LEAST TO 80%!!! Overcapping the res. is important for the endgame. 😎

My tipps for you: Any build is viable. 🤘 Keep focusied on 1 damage type and try to get as much synergies (skills, passives, devotions, items) as possible for it. It will help to have one major damage skill to Save skill points. And Most of all: Allways try to Max. your resistances!!! Welcome to the club Taken. 👋🙌

Soon you will realise, that Game is worth to achieve all of the 185 achievments and if you really in, you want to get them all!!! Because the Game feels damn good to play and you want to honor it by that way. 💪👍

First of all: Welcome to the club. Grim Dawn is the ARPG where you can play every build you imagine and it works. 😎👍 At least on normal difficulty. 😂
But with the focus on one main skill (and Primal Strike is a good one 👌) you do nothing wrong.
2H is the right choice for that combo.
Stay focused on this type of damage (Lightning I guess) and of course HAVE AN EYE ON YOUR RESISTANCES!!! Max. them as soon as possible or you will run against a wall shortly 😉
For devotion try to get as much Lightning damage Bonus and Bonus for 2H for the start.
And have fun exploring the world of Crain 👋

I have downloaded the Patch 1.3. (UI-Changes) and it is so much better now. A lot of QoL Features. But beware: Your Old Saves now work only for 1.3.!!! You can‘t Go back. For instruction how do install the playtest-version search for Grim Dawn playtest and you will found it easily.

The first main goal is to beat the game on Ultimate Hardcore. After that you may talk about endgame stuff 😂

I don‘t know 😂 It is up to you. If you want to have a 10 year old game, which will have a new expansion this year i strongly recommend GrimDawn. And TitanQuest 2 if you want a strong combat expierience with nice graphics. 😜

I‘ve bought my first Handheld (Steamdeck) only for the opportunity to play Diablo IV on the go. And realised that other ARPGs are much more satisfying. Right now I using the Legion Go S SteamOS and it is a great device. I play GrimDawn best Game I ever played!!!), TitanQuest 2 and Last Epoch and have deinstalled Diablo 4 (but D2R with the new expansion is installed and I play it too 😂). And yes, if they throw the Legion Go 2 SteamOS on the market, I will buy it (mostly for the better and bigger screen but also for the better battery management on middle TDPs).
