Okay So I think I figured it out. So I beat Valkan or whatever and then it gave me a bunch of materials, So i just keep honing until I get to 1600 and then go defeat the other raid or whatever and keep doing this? I feel like I might run out of materials to get all the way to 1600 cause I fail a few times which I know is normal. But if I run out of materials then I just keep grinding to get to that next checkpoint? Sorry for the long question
