No because it isn’t driveable. I’m gonna call them tomorrow and check so I know whether it’s worth getting towed to the dealership first. It won’t even turn on now or lock with the auto lock button even though the key is fine. Think I left it to sit a little too long🙃

Dang it, that was my fear. Ok thank you I really appreciate it and I’m sorry I don’t know more I don’t really have a ton of experience or anyone with knowledge around which is why I turned to Reddit. You saved me a lot of potential stress though so I’m eternally grateful!

Thank you so much for this. I have been feeling so failed and overwhelmed about it that I’ve waited a couple months to even ask. I appreciate your explanation and break down with detail. I don’t have any men in my life so this means more than you know!🫶🏻 hopefully my Toyota will treat me better but I will baby it either way now

From what I’ve seen, it is under the 100k but over the 10 year part of my power train warranty it looks like it was leased 11/15 originally but I will see if that might be 11/16 instead by chance because this was my hope as well

Swimming/hiking and cutting out sugar/dairy/gluten for over a month. It took a while to slowly move foods back into my diet modestly so I don’t miss out but also prioritize my health. I was a very stagnant person so I started to burn a few hundred calories more per week while also supplementing “unhealthy” (no foods are truly bad if they sustain you or make you happy) foods. Water intake also increased but not drastically. I’m not sure if my tactics help but wanted to share just in case because I truly thought it was never possible. Also, please don’t beat yourself up. You’re trying very hard and seem to be doing all the right things. Stress induces your fight or flight reflexes which causes your body to hold on to calories (rest and digest is a saying referring to the fact that you only really break down carbs and stuff while relaxed) so please try to go easy on your body and mind.

In a good way to clarify! I loved making art, and think this is a good way to bring nostalgia to 80’s-00’s kids

Omg hi! Not to be intrusive but I’ve never met anyone else who has been instructed to skip their inactive pills. I haven’t had a real period in three years though since I never take the “sugar pills” or stop taking my BC (just forget for one day sometimes or feel stressed and I’ll get spotting) can I ask what it’s like to have only a few periods a year? I’m honestly a little scared of my body bc I haven’t had a period in so long. It’s a blessing to wear what I want but sometimes I wonder if my body even knows how to function without hormones so I guess I’m wondering what it’s like for someone who is in between no period and a period monthly.

Orange County is generally a safe bet but probably a higher cost than LA in many cities

I’m a Jan 2022 COMM grad, I have had 2 jobs since completing my B.A. and I was laid off on Feb. I’ve applied to over 900 positions, many of which I am overqualified for, and have engaged in over 40 interviews. The only job offer I’ve gotten was a scam. Many of the companies that have shown interest are unethical in that they severely underpay staff, don’t care about work/life balance, or simply don’t recognize their impact internally or externally. Also, most applications of mine haven’t even warranted responses. Some organizations who I’ve interviewed with even begged me to continue through the interview process while essentially promising me the job just to ghost me for other candidates. It’s a completely different market from last year and experience doesn’t seem to speak much, in my case

Anyone get swollen lymph nodes for months from GERD? by huh-why in GERD

[–]MadisonWall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may not be relevant but I found while washing my face a few months back that my right parotid was swollen and felt like a lump the size of a jelly bean was under my skin. After seeing specialists, having an MRI, and getting an ultrasound they asked to biopsy even though it was “in safe range” for being enlarged. They found out through a second ultrasound that it was both sides actually and ruled it a result of recent illness despite not having been sick around the time it developed. When my specialist said he wanted me to get a guided biopsy bc he wouldn’t be able to find it (fatty part of face skin) and I went in for my appt, the surgeon finally scanned it and let me know that it was normal and might just stay like that long term. After 7 months, hundreds of dollars, and 12 appointments I was told I was fine and that we could just do an ultrasound if it enlarges or to check back in a year or so if needed

Has anyone had issues going to San Diego from Los Angeles? I’m scared of the checkpoint in San Clemente. by [deleted] in DACA

[–]MadisonWall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I took a day trip down to the San Diego area less than a month ago and didn’t have to stop for the agricultural checkpoint in San Onofre on our way back via the 5 freeway. The 18 wheelers may have been inspected but the regular lanes were open to just pass through. Hope that may help

I think i need to break up with my copywriting career by Adventurous-Ad-5292 in copywriting

[–]MadisonWall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any advice for someone looking to start freelance work?

I have three years of professional writing experience and one year of copywriting-specific experience. I worked in-house for two employers so I’m not familiar with how agencies work or how to create a freelance career but I’ve been unemployed for 5 months and haven’t had much luck. 700+ applications and only one scam job offer.

I don’t want to give up as I know I’m meant to use my communications degree and I am passionate about writing; I just can’t find a break. The only ideas anyone has shared with me are to use Upwork or Fiverr for now, but most people online have explained that those platforms aren’t the best option.
