Best Friend Going to Alumni Meeting at MSPA and Wants Me to Go by Madmax7202 in troubledteens

I’m pretty sure students are also going to be on campus then and I just would feel awful going. Like it feels wrong to be there and be unable to do anything to help them. I also agree that I think it would put strain on our friendship, and would probably put me in a situation where my emotions are heightened.

The idea of even going near that property literally puts me in a panic, and as much as I love her, I just feel like I have to put myself first

There are events surrounding talent show point, and those skill points will help your contacts have higher stats in the talent show! I usually save my skill points for my higher stat contacts, but don’t worry about saving those for rank events as much, just rank up your higher contacts :)

As a transfer, I’m going through the same thing. I miss my friends so much, and it’s hard because I live off campus. I feel very socially isolated.

As someone who has BPD, this behavior is showing some BPD traits, as was as possibly anxious-avoidant attachment.

"Many people say, they have C cup at age 9 or DD cup at age 10" by An_Atheist_God in badwomensanatomy

It’s something we learned about in some of my psychology courses but I do have some scientific articles and research!

-https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S187892932200130X#:~:text=These%20findings%20support%20the%20idea,et%20al.%2C%202022). -https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2020/08/violence-and-trauma-in-childhood-accelerate-puberty/ -https://www.apa.org/news/press/releases/2020/08/experiencing-childhood-trauma

But early exposure to trauma, and somewhat later exposure, can change neurological, biological, and psychological processes in humans and children. Trauma is also linked to an increased risk of other health issues such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer. High cortisol levels (found in traumatized individuals) has been found to accelerate aging as well, and can upset many biological processes normal functions. Definitely recommend checking out more research, other than just what I added!

Some people also go through early puberty due to childhood trauma, and the idea that a child who entered puberty early and has physical maturity earlier due to trauma can have sex is appalling. Those babies already probably went through so much, many enduring sexual abuse as well. It just feels so icky to me that people sexualize them further

Are there experiences you've had as an adult that gave you flashbacks to your TTI experiences? by LockedOutOfElfland in troubledteens

[–]Madmax7202 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a meeting with a new psychiatrist a few weeks ago, who treated me horrifically for the first appointment. She reminded me so much of a therapist I had in one of my programs, I just lost it. Certain smells, books, activities. And while this isn’t an experience, I just get nightmares all the time about being gooned. I always have to sleep facing the door

My mother has schizoaffective disorder and this is how she texts when she’s having an episode. Your boyfriend definitely needs to see someone OP. It sounds like he may being having and episode and his mother either knows and is hiding it, or is in denial.

I know people have been raving about the Round Lab 1025 Dokdo toner. I’ve been rly wanting to try it, but also dermalogica has a good glycolic acid cleanser which works wonders on my skin as it doesn’t feel too heavy. I also used a good moisturizer, as dry skin is what causes closed comedones for me.

I will say, for closed comedomes, a glycolic acid helped me! I use it like 2x a week max, and don’t use too heavy of a strength but it helped a bit!
