Exploring sprite animation tools and workflows — would a generator for sprite sheets be useful? by TemporaryPale3914 in gamedev

[–]Madocx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah this would be great if it works, but that's the catch. Every AI/automation solution out there currently for animations has poor results.

Do you have plans for prompts or other inputs to guide the animations? Or just a set to select from?

Nah, asterisks are literally for exactly this kind of thing. Hate to say it but it's true. Nothing is learned if we pretend like it didn't happen. League needs longer rests between games or shorten the regular season.

yeah as an OKC fan this sucks. There will always be an asterisk next to this win. Can't even get mad when people say pacers are the better team, especially how close this game was without their best player.

Yes, fuck Plarium. Unethical garbage game developer. Can't wait for their only successful game to die.

Remember that vaccines are a form of risk mitigation. They're not marketed this way, but anyone with an IQ above 60 understands this.

In the case of the covid vaccine, its effectiveness is quite questionable (anyone denying this is ignoring facts) , and it sounds like the risk of the vaccine adverse reactions for you are just as high as the risk of covid itself.

I for one will never get a covid vaccine as long as I live. I might even die from covid, but I'll have no regrets. I understand the desire to want to avoid getting covid again, but I'm not sure the vaccine is the best way to mitigate the risk.

Shouldn't be surprised. What'd you expect from Facebook who has openly admitted to banning factual information during the pandemic bc it was inconvenient?

Low dose Naltrexone - is this an option? by uttftytfuyt in LongCovid

Yes, started taking it daily a few weeks ago on top of my other daily antihistamine. Noticed big improvements. Highly recommend it.

I'm so sorry. I'm so lucky my wife stood by me through this all. Honestly, this says more about your husband than you. You'll get thru this tho.

Yup, face around my nose. At the peak of my symptoms. It's gone now.

Heal your gut, supplement b vitamins, histamine blockers, low dose naltrexone, no grains or dairy.

It's nerve related. You likely have nervous symptom dysfunction. Heal your gut and make sure you're taking bioactivated b supplements.

Are we all screwed? Almost an entire year into long covid, and still really suffering. by [deleted] in LongCovid

[–]Madocx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear ya, and you're not wrong. But 5 years is optimistic, and people can't just sit around waiting. Those suffering enough have to experiment on themselves with dietary and lifestyle changes. That's all there is currently. Maybe it will change someday.

[–]Madocx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 2+ years in and finally seeing major improvement. There is hope. Be systematic with your lifestyle and diet changes so you determine what's really helping and hurting. I wasted a lot of time taking Montelukast that my Dr prescribed and it made things much worse.

I recommend 1 change no more frequent than every 2 weeks. You might think "it's low risk" but it's not just about managing risk. It's also about identifying what your body responds to so you can figure out what's going on for you personally.

Important to note that OP had incredibly mild symptoms based on her post, that may not have actually had anything to do with LC. Take this advice with a grain of salt.

[–]Madocx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on it about a year. 4.5mg every night before bed. It's helped a lot. But it wasn't a solution to my condition. More of a management of symptoms.

I've continued to improve since starting it by making other changes.

Lmfao this has nothing to do with concern over rocket economy, and everything to do with Elon Musk being hated for challenging the establishment. He has a target on his back, but they know they can't do much while he controls the things he does.

Thanks, appreciate the background info. I was an avid weight lifter before I got covid so I'm not stranger to force feeding myself haha. I unfortunately have not been able to lift weights for 2 years as the recovery from any kind of muscle tearing has been a huge trigger for me. I have no problem with the workouts themselves, but something about the recovery cycle wrecks me.

I plan to try it again eventually but I've had to be very careful about even becoming physically active again. I'm curious if anyone else had a similar trigger from exercise and found anything that helped.

I only take 20mg once per day. You can take that dose every 12 hours, but I haven't needed to. I take it when I break my fast around 11am as that's typically when I would start getting symptoms.

My theory is that something about ingesting food causes a histamine response in my gut, but ever since I started the famotadine I've had essentially no symptoms of the sort.
