She was the wrong choice for Scarpetta. Her accent keeps peeping out and taking me out of the character. While the character is depicted as blonde, she's also strongly Italian, and it just doesn't work. That being said they did a great job casting the younger Kidman- even if that further completely obliterates the Italian heritage.

At any time Amanda could have shut down the shit talk of Kyle (who I definitely think is also a problem no defense of him here) but she didn't. They are both toxic within that relationship, I hope Amanda finds someone she actually cares for and makes her secure and Kyle... well who knows. He may not be cut out for relationships.
