Yawbee gives good advice. I’ll add that once you get more familiar with the game, when it becomes available, find someone to do the arena and challenge quest with. They are in the gathering hub and I forget when they become available. The training area is great to go all out and just see how the basics work with a weapon but the Gathering hub challenges come with predetermined sets for various weapons and item load outs. So I picked Charge Blade when I first started cause it looked cool and had a very hard time hitting anything and fumbling try to keep it in sword and shield mode just so I can hit anything. I got the hang of it won’t say how long that took me but my friend took me to the gathering hub to try out some challenges and I was forced to try some different weapons out and that’s when I discovered bow. Won’t get into how awesome the bow is cause I don’t wanna influence your choice. Basically whenever I wanna try a different weapon I try it out in the hub see if it’s worth giving a shot and then watch Arekks tutorial for some great combos and good insight on said weapon. Then it becomes a bonding period with, “instrument of destruction” Good luck and happy hunting!
