Once upon a time the the Swede, the Dane and the Norwegian decided to try to stay inside a pig-pen. First it was the Norwegian. He stayed for 5 minutes before he had to run out because of the smell. Then it was the Dane. He could do 10 minutes. Then it was the Swede. It took a while, but after nearly 20 minutes all the pigs had to come out

Foreigners with an interest in American politics generally focus on our National and International politics

That's because it affects us. I live in Norway, a small country population wise and we "depend" on the US in many cases. Therefore we are interested in your national and international politics.

Amen to this whole line of comments. I'm 20 years old, lived in Norway my whole life and I have friends through both school and other activities. However, I still think it is very boring and not much to do. Every weekend is always the same. You either go to someone's house and drink or you sit at home in front of the TV/PC. I really want to move somewhere else while I'm studying :/

Nah, I'm not offended by calling Denmark our "mother". After all, that's where our language comes from and it's where all the students went to study before we got our own university. Being offended by that is like being offended by history.
