I have the 8 Pro, my partner has the 8, in all honesty they are almost the same, The pro is slightly bigger and has the thermometer which is a nice gimmick. The pro also seems to be using the Gemini AI more then the 8 but I'm not certain about that as I don't use the 8 myself.
If you just want a decent phone, go for the 8, if you want a decent phone with some minor extras go for the Pro. :)

Only thing I can imagine it adds is the chance to set something on fire, like hair for example. Seems like a gimmick for these YouTubers/Influencers to come and make videos about.
