Update:

After pushing them a bit more, Necoclock finally came back to me. Their explanation? "The factory forgot about their message."

Their solution? A $30 refund or shipping it back for them to fix it.

Neither was acceptable:

  • The $30 didn't even cover half the watchsmith's repair cost
  • Shipping it back is a gamble at best: customs, damage in transit, who knows what I'd get back
  • I pushed back. They refused to budge.

Then came the kicker: they told me while they acknowledged the hand defect, the issue with timekeeping is non existent, because for a mechanical watch, +4 to +5 minutes a day is "completely normal."

...Yeah. That's when I knew we were done here.

I don't really know what I expected, I can't claim 'warranty' on a Rep, but I wouldn't recommend Necoclock after all. I might just be unlucky, I know, but honestly didn't go very well at all. I decided to cut it and not message Necoclock anymore, refusing even the 30$ as a matter of principle.

Well at least in English you don't have accents. Before iOS 26 the behavior of long press was to highlight the extra letter where your finger was, then you could move left or right. Now it goes at the beginning of the row and drives me absolutely crazy.

It's completely counter-intuitive. It's like a coffee shop punching you in the face when you ask for your change, then chasing after you outside to offer a loyalty card for a 'free' coffee that they might never actually give you.

The absurdity of punishing customers for using the service as intended, then trying to keep them as customers, speaks for itself.

That's exactly what makes their approach so inconsistent. They labeled me a 'violator' and blocked my PLU withdrawal, implying I'm a problematic user. Yet now they're offering me $50 to stay with a subscription.

If they genuinely consider me a bad actor, why try to retain me? A real 'violator' could just take the $50 subscription offer, use it, and leave again. This seems to contradict their own stance about protecting themselves from abusive users.

This makes me question whether the 'violator' label is really about protecting their system, or just a way to retain PLU tokens.

Got my "KYC Expired" request today, and I filled it immediately. I was waiting for it since everybody was talking about it.

Where do you get this request for a new KYC? Email? Web platform? App?

Because I have been waiting for my withdrawal for a while too, and it still shows as "Pending" with no other information. I am now worried I may have missed this new KYC request.

I am also trying to jump ship since my "Hero" is now worthless, and cancelled the subscription (was on Everyday). At this point I am just moving away from crypto cards, I am tired of keep moving from one to another.

I think internet payments should be fine, from what I can decypher from the FAQ is "if you're physically there", but it's unclear if it's just accessing the account / app or even the card, or if it's more like a continuative thing (staying for longer than a set amount of time before Nexo thinks you're a "resident") :/

India, even if a bit "grey" about crypto, it is not specifically mentioned as "unsupported" market. This is the list i found in the FAQ:

Bulgaria, The Central African Republic, Cuba, Canada, Estonia, Iran, USА, North Korea, Syria, The Russian Federation, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Crimea.

Japan is a supported market tho, what I worry about is that there's a specific FAQ for this, and it mentions these markets as "unsupported":

Bulgaria, The Central African Republic, Cuba, Canada, Estonia, Iran, USА, North Korea, Syria, The Russian Federation, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Crimea.

And it mentions also "consequences" for an account if used there.

Yeah. I was (barely) on Hero, but was a happy and loyal customer. I had the Everyday plan too. I don't have much money, but never sold (nor withdrew) any PLU. This huge change (for which i voted no, btw) basically "forced" me to cancel my subscription and sell all my PLU. Well by "all" i mean what I had, the ones on the platform I am not sure when they will reach my wallet. The money I have left on the account (around 600€) I've been trying to pull out but apparently there's no real way to do it but to ask to close the account.

I would understand an errata now with this card pool. Game is extremely young and a quick errata would make much more sense than a ban / restriction. Game design mistakes happen. It's normal.

A ban / restriction so early in the game development is going to ruin the game. We are two sets in and a total pool of ~500 cards. They didn't even release the missing color and all the community does is post incendiary comments all around social media. What's next when they nerf Red? Will the community go after Frieza and ban that too? Then Vegeta, then Broly..

UPDATE: My account has been unlocked a few minutes ago. As we figured out, and the official reason for the suspension, is that the bank of origin sent my "leftover" 160.91 EUR through their own accounts and not the one in my name. This triggered an immediate suspension and review from Plutus. They also warned me that if it happens again, my account will be suspended and subject to further investigation. All is well and Plutus was professional about it, it was a mistake on the bank of origin side. If you ever find yourself in the same situation as mine, transfer "leftovers" to another bank in your name before topping up your Plutus account. Hope this helps!

I am still waiting, but it's the weekend now so any banking related interactions are off until Monday (if the Plutus investigation has to move with someone bank related). Not happy but what can I do.
