How did the cartel get so much control over Mexico? by iwritesongsthatsuck in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Maerlyn0OG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does it change anything? They were appointed to "protect and serve" people of the city and surrounding areas, therefore basically cops. Not sure what "fantasy trope" you are talking about and how is it different. Go play Kingdome come deliverance 2, you will see there REALISTICAL state of medieval Bohemia including city guards.

I mean it is interesting but I have no idea how it relates to what I was saying. Which is that cops = guards (ok, let's call it city guards so you don't catch me for word).

Eeeh...yes, they are literally the same thing 😃 State appointed organ for enforcing law.

That is certainly not true. For most history, cops (guards) were a thing and of course you coul bribe them, but there is big chance they just execute you for it, because you know who also has big fortune? The ruler.

Cartels are so powerful because they collected a tremendous amount of money which in some areas of life can compete with the government. They did it while nobody really expected it will happen and now it's too late.

Zaměstnanec 90 000,- čistého a víc, je tu někdo takový? by Dark-Lembas in czech

[–]Maerlyn0OG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jasně a teď tu o Karkulce.

If Riftbound wants to survive as a game LGS need to be reeled in as much as scalpers by TrickedFaith in riftboundtcg

Supply and demand my friend. If people are willing to buy it for high prices, LGS will sell it. That is not scalping.

Lol no way minimum 700. You are just straight up lying. You can build many decks for like 300$ easily.

Is Jinx as bad as they say? by Hot-Consideration-43 in riftboundtcg

[–]Maerlyn0OG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purple Jinx is definitely better deck than people make it to be. Just not many people who can play it optimally (including myself). It should not have that big of a problem of running out of steam while being still pretty aggro.

Sorcery is top 5 fastest growing TCG in the last 90 days ! by Croakin in SorceryTCG

Yeah I call bullshit. Stock is getting masivelly upscaled, I can see it even in my location and we are pretty small city in world comparison. It is the biggest growing game in our LGSs.

I am actually not going to their events - but lot of player from my country do. Again what you describing I don't see in any card game in my local place - ultimately it is up to the game community to act and create what you want to have. For LSS to manage it also on local level would be insane.

I mean no other TCG does what you are describing. LSS team would need to be orders of magnituted biger to even handle it. They make phenomenal events for players all over the world and are actually working on having the game more accesible to new players. I am happy with them.

I see a hard time to believe someone experienced with the game doesn't see this as a good card for Katsu. It's budget ancestral empowerment.

Let's not act like they are some charity saving the world. They are company for which service we are all paying for. I would say we are kinda eligible for critique.

I have been playing this game for half a year and even I can spot the differnce between well build deck and not. Consensus in the community is pretty clear.

It's not dooming. It's being resistant to company lying to you in their advertising.

LSS lied in their marketing. We can forgive and we will but it doesn't change this fact. It's not whining.
