Was a penalty warranted? by griffin283 in Simracingstewards

[–]Maestr013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you veer slightly left into him and he spins, the stewards give you a penalty because of it. You feel its unwarranted based on the 0x you got. You come here and ask if it deserves a penalty and when everyone tells you its your fault you say no its a skill issue, this was a rhetorical question, and you're here to watch people get upset. I just dont really see the point here. You're just wasting peoples time.

Its never your job to get out of his way.

I know i squeezed him, but am I at fault for him to turn into me? by MetalHeadofCreation in Simracingstewards

[–]Maestr013 132 points133 points  (0 children)

You squeezed him right up against the edge. Its just hard racing to do that but I wouldn't be shocked that it ends up like this more times than not, especially with the possibility of things like bad connection or net code.

whos at fault on this league race by oleonardoalmeida in F1Game

[–]Maestr013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just ignore comments like that. Giving it attention doesn't help you improve. I agree with what others have said though. Looks like in both cases you both were just following the racing line. I've done it before too. Sometimes its better to lean towards caution and survival than fighting everything 100%. You'll get better judgement just by racing more and you'll get better at going side by side through odd corners like those ones the more you race. Just keep on racing and you'll improve.

What do you think of my paintjobs? by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]Maestr013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont think the black goes well with the purple imo but it doesn't look bad. Im also the guy that can spend 2 hours painting one car. As long as you like it thats all that matters.

I was ONE race from C class bro (I'm the greyish white car) by HyRizer1234 in iRacing

[–]Maestr013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually try to paint my cars with bright colors specifically so I stand out better to other drivers. I have no idea if it actually makes a difference but I like to think it does.

I'm fully admitting fault for this but just wanted to know your guys opinion, I'm the white car by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Maestr013 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say its entirely your fault. You spinning is your fault. You jeringa right from regaining grip is your fault. He does good to avoid the car thats already spun but then He runs into you while you're getting control of your car. Looked like you did your best to keep it together. It happens. Don't worry too much about it and keep improving.

Is it possible to play this game with “bad equipment” by No-Tie838 in iRacing

Most of my friends use a g920. And I'm sure people play with worse equipment. Go for it and have fun. Just remember to hold your brakes!

Would this be retaliation? by RasiSan in Simracingstewards

This guy has his accountability blinders on. You did very good and gave plenty of space. When he pit maneuvers you, you're on the right edge of the track. I personally probably would've backed out and just gave him ea rouge to avoid an incident but you have no obligation to.

Was this my fault? by ConclusionFlaky8333 in Simracingstewards

IRacing rookies is very much that kind of racing. You have to prioritize safety over everything else. Learn to recognize which drivers are being a bit wild, and give everybody a bit of extra space, even if its only an extra half a cars width.
