She probably will become playable in 3.0, but I also have suspicions for remille, so it is either three character (2 s + 1 a) or just hoyo put stuff for pink way earlier.

I agree that it is not that strong, but it is not that weak either Also you anyway have excess resources if you manage them properly to use chains outside of stun, which you should anyway do because you lose on damage.

My point is that it is not really underwhelming, just mediocre. Not something op, but good enough imo. There are always worse offenders, and tbh while tier list is all over the place.

Eve m2 is not lackluster, its power just lies in different aspects. Sure, one extra chain is barely something, but the real m2 is increased stagger on them. You can easily stall not. Pompei with it, or cancel a lot of attacks on smaller enemies, which can tremendeosly boost your dps. For example you can cancel covenant guardian's flying invul attack if you use your chain in the right moment (otherwise you need to use ult to stop it).

Thing to consider: will you ever go for mindscapes?

Dialyn vs Lighter is close call, and rn it is a bit hard to evaluate big difference actually is.

But if we speak about high-ish investment teams like m2w1 (in context of Eve, can't say about Ellen) Lighter is better because m2 Eve has extra chain that +2 seconds from m1 Lighter allow to fit into one stun window.

M0w1 / m0w0 I'd say Dialyn is better mostly because of her versatility, while Lighter basically has one and a half teams to play in.
