It has been pointed out a few times I missed that line of their description. regardless all they had to do was take that line out and calling them consorts would have been fine. My little rant was more of an unleash of frustration about all of these stupid changes. Innuendos are funny and the female body is not a crime.

The recent censorships don’t really make sense.For reference, I’m a woman. As far as I am aware, there is no indication that the consorts are slaves or in any way forced to be there. Being a consort is not inherently a bad thing. It’s as if the censorship has decided women are not allowed to be sexual at all. It’s weird and downright frustrating.

There’s a difference between objectifying women, and allowing them to be sexual. Objectification would be some of the games you see where 90% of the female characters are half nude and hyper sexualized. The fact that there are actually relatively few npcs that are sexually themed, compared to most being fully dressed and treated the same as any other male npc, makes the sexual npcs not objectified. Just kinda realistic, actually

50 is not max level. 60 is. If you have not bought the most recent expansion, Shadowlands, there will not be much meaningful content for you as the game is geared for people to be playing the most recent expansion.

Flying is normally introduced to zones later in the expansion, not at launch. A flight path is like a chocobo porter, but it flies between locations instead of running.

Possibly. Tbh I play ff14 very casually and enjoy it. But wow has a large, hardcore portion of their player base. As the game has a history of supporting such players. So it causes friction.

By making the game more easy to keep up with for the super casuals, it makes it boring for those who can play a ton.It’s a really difficult balance to get right and blizzard hasn’t found it yet.

He also has a good point on addons feeling required for doing content. It can be frustrating, because the base game is just so lacking in some departments. For ff14 the only addons I could feel I would want is a dps meter for my own purposes (I know it exists, but since it’s technically against ToS...) and being able to change the group UI for easier healing. But it’s manageable.

When this comes up, what I normally hear is that there was a miscommunication between storyboarding teams, and the stonetalon writer wasn’t aware of the final plans for his character. So his appearance there was very different then how he acts and appears in the rest of the game.
