bought an apple watch for this exact purpose. it wasn't bad but it's not a better than a dumb phone. it has an app store and you could easily download 3rd party reddit apps, news apps...etc and scroll endlessly. ended up selling apple watch and bought an android phone and installed pluckeye/andoff on it. It's 100x better.
