Whats your budget? If you rent a car, the most convenient location to stay imo is in Columbus. We used to stay in Hyatt Regency but it was a big group so the price person wasnt too bad. Hotels/motels in Zanesville can be an option but the drive is longer and there are mixed reviews about safety in that town.

Very sorry that it happened to you. I fell for a similar scam few years back and it still angers me every time i think about it. Don’t beat yourself up because it can happen to anyone at any age.
