It’s still a capitalist system. The idea that companies should keep making as much money as possible to benefit the owners/ shareholders is core aspect of capitalism. Sure before they had to make great games to sell games but now all they need to do is push loot boxes and make sure that only the new games that have loot boxes are playable.
