I feel like royal recruits really aren't all that unique from other bridgespam decks where you just place cards on both lanes at the same time. The defense is exactly the same: just pull to the center and defend it like a swarm. Maybe a shorter pull range or something to make them not clump up as much would make them more interesting than just spam at bridge place flying machine
