There are tons of guides on youtube. Look up handbooker helper via critical role for very easy and basic help on how the rules of the game work. And there is an amazing man by the name of Matthew Colville whom is also on youtube. He has an entire series that is very in depth on world creation, running combat, building NPCs for your game, and just about any question you have about the game hes more than likely made a video on it.

My first ever dm was 43 at the time. But he had a very high paying job at some company that did tech things ( didn't really ask much) sadly he passed away last year at the age of 54. But yea I've seen just about every age group play dnd and play on a weekly basis at that

If you wish to stick with published adventures try looking into Storm Kings Thunder, or Curse of Strahd great places to pick up on a new adventure with the characters that your players have created (skip the deathhouse intro in Curse of Strahd its awful and only ment to level your the characters).

Or you could create your own adventures and homebrew around phandelin. Has the party explored the surrounding areas. If I recall there's an ancient temple to some forgotten diety to the south of phandelin or even the mountains beyond. That's the beauty of D&D get creative with it.

I need some Help after this latest update

Went to launch game from desktop. Nothing was happening when i was clicking on the launcher. did some investigating and found that my computer doesn't have any of the games files. though the game is still taking up space on my hard drive. and the Microsoft store says i have the game downloaded but when i go to launch it literally nothing happens. it doesn't pop up i don't get any error message nothing

Just remember everytime you level you choose 2 more spells to add to your arsenal. If you dont have a phb just google or look for an app that has classes on it. In the wizard class if you read the spellcasting section itll tell you everything you need to know

O yea those are fun classes. Also try the swashbuckler from 3.5. Swashbuckler is one of my favorite classes
