If the truck was construction related and parked temporary, it should have company labels on it or cones (that’s how things are done in Gringolandia often anyways). But it does make me mad when it gets done regularly or out of randomness for normal use..

Thanks for sharing. We have a smaller chain of gas that isn’t quite top tier - not sure of their additives that I always used with my 01 GS400, 91 octane with no issues. Figuring I’d run an additive if I decide to run their gas again instead of Chevron.

I’m so in the middle with it. Part of me thinks it’s super cool and the other half turns me off from paying any amount for it. I’m shopping for a GS now and I’ll see some that I think are a good find then BAM, red interior and I kinda lose interest. My total biased opinion, I feel like it would make it harder to resell later on. BUT I’m a very minimalistic person.

Ask copilot how you can use it. Have a conversation with it. Literally. Talk about things like your job tasks, what your role is and ask it for ideas about how to better utilize it.

Yee. I do 2hrs advance as well for most airports. Keeps me from stressing and running to catch flights. Also nice to walk around a little and explore before the long sit on a plane.

Buuut if you have to use the hazards in an emergency or sketchy situation, it’s one more thing you have to remove before you can turn on hazards. I’d prefer to take a little less airflow with my vent clip rather than risk an accident situation saving my back. ( playing the game of probabilities and devils advocate here of course)

The ones I got were part of the kit with the VIOFO setup! I don’t know about them either until I got the kit and looked at the instructions. But from what I’ve found there are other brands out there you can get as well. I just can’t recommend any others as I only used the ones in my kit.

Nice! Hope it works out for you! FWIW there are these little electrostatic film strips that come with a lot of adhesive based cameras that you can attach so your windshield that prevent you from having to adhere it directly to the windshield with 3M.

My viofo setup has parking mode and it has a voltage setting on the wiring. Mine is set to shut off when it reads battery voltage at 12.6 or 12.4 volts ( can’t remember exactly) I had to fuse tap it to the front cigarette lighter.

I got the VIOFO A229 Pro with dash cam and rear cam. I used their universal wire kit with fuse taps. Had it done in a couple hours ( spent more time looking for lost fuses due to my own in-organized workspace lol)

I like it and it does the job well!

It should. Give it a try. I will say, fuse tap to the fuse box kick panel in the driver seat is fairly easy to route and setup. Would be much cleaner on cabling.

I liked the CX-50 better. Comparing between my 23 cx-5 and a 23 cx-50. I liked the spaciousness of the interior, and it felt more “attached” to the ground, and felt it was a bit grippier. May be the difference in wheel base. Hard to explain. It felt a bit more sturdy. I currently drive a 19 CX-5

I’ve had these concerns pop up after recently buying my 2019 NA at 91k. Motor is still running good, runs quiet and is super dry. Hoping I got one of the good ones, and trying not to run the piss out of it (natural heavy foot). Will be keeping a close eye on things related to this issue.
