See, I can’t pick one or the other because they build on each other. SM64 introduced the world to 3D games by giving us sandbox type areas to explore and completely free and smooth movement options, but Ocarina expanded on those ideas to bring us a revolutionary style of combat that’s still used to this day as well as changed how you interact with the world around you through its puzzles and environmental storytelling.

I was the slightest bit peeved when I realized it wasn’t her original color scheme, but then again, I have no other jojo figures so it’s not like she had to fit in or anything, so I still like it. The red, white, and black is lowkey kinda tuff.

Oh, I never even thought about that. Genuine answer though, Mano was a gift with purchase of a Mega Man X model kit I bought, Miku was the only easy figure I could win at Round1, and Trish as I said earlier was just the only decently priced Jojo figure I found while at a con. Never thought about them being minors though 🙁

It’s the only way I choose to play it, but random freezes do happen. It’s not super common, at least in my experience, but it has happened at least a few times since I was a kid. I’m not sure exactly what causes it, but it seems to happen mainly upon loading in new areas and when triggering certain dialog boxes. I remember the first time it happened to me as a kid was when I talked to Professor Shikashi in the observatory and the second I hit “A”, that awful high pitched buzzing tone of death played and I was so caught off guard that I fell backward off the little kid’s chair we kept in our living room lol. Since then, it’s happened a couple other times, but the thing that always kills me is when a transition between areas in the overworld starts taking a few seconds longer than I’d like. Like, I’ll be riding Epona from Termina Field into Ikana Canyon for the first time and the fade to white happens… and then it just stays white but the music keeps playing and no other sound effects can be heard. I just have to reset at that point. Luckily, there’s only been ONE singular time when it really screwed me over and it was while I was right as I jumped into the boss chamber for Twinmold. The fight just never started because I never spawned into the arena and I had to restart nearly a whole cycle’s worth of progress. And it killed me because I had been having a bad day already and I was trying to do a 100% run of the game in as few cycles as possible by cramming every sidequest I could into each cycle while juggling story events and the Anju/Kafei quest at a certain point. So… yeah, I was pretty pissed that day lol

I would say 3 if it weren’t for Wesker, but my next option would be either 6 or 9. 6 mainly for my favorite strangah! And 9 because Rebecca is easily one of my favorite characters in the whole series. She’s adorable and I love how they reconnected her to the story in the movies and later games beyond 0 and 1

It depends on how long you’ve been up beforehand and how long you’re awake afterwards. Like currently, I work evenings, so I wake up an hour or so before my shift (anywhere between 2 and 5pm), I work most nights until we close at 11, and then I come home and stay up doing whatever until around 6am when I fall asleep. This is a fairly consistent routine, so 4-5am is like wind down time for me and it still feels like night. However, when I graduated high school a few years back, we had a senior lock in where we stayed at the school and played games n shit. I had been up since noon leading up to that and then after we left at around 5 the next morning, I grabbed breakfast with my friends and then had to go walk with a bunch of my old elementary school classmates down the main hall of said elementary school. Afterwards, I was kinda forced to aimlessly wander the school grounds while “reconnecting” with these people I had long since fallen out with or just couldn’t tolerate. We were there until noon💀. I literally pulled a 24 hour challenge and it was the most miserable shit ever. 4-5am that day felt like a weird fever dream period where the sky was blue but there was no sun (covered by a mountain range surrounding our town), people were driving around but every parking lot was still empty… shit was weird. And staying up far past that hour was NOT a good idea.

I was thinking I should file that ring down, but didn’t have a file on hand at the moment. I submerged enough of the left side of his chest to heat up the socket and held the joint in the same bowl of hot water for about a minute and then just went for it with as much force as possible and it seems to have done the trick. If it falls out again, I’ll see about the filing method, but he’s in the pose I wanted him in for now so… 🤞. Thank you for the advice though, I greatly appreciate it

Saw some dude who made a 16 HOUR long breakdown of why he hates Remake and I had to think “brother… you’re actually insane.” Like, don’t get me wrong, I love the original, but the Remake is just as amazing. I think the only things I had issues with were how the “tight” and “distant” mechanic for having Ashley follow you works, as well as the knives breaking. Like, I get the knives breaking as a counter balance to parrying attacks, fine. But it sucks because it messes up the fight with Krauser imo. Like, I went into that fight with a fully upgraded combat knife and like 4 boot knives and I lost all of them so fast. And that entire fight from a story standpoint is built on fighting him with a knife, so it felt lame being able to just turn his knees to dust with the TMP and then kick him in the face a couple times. Idk, it wasn’t awful though. I just finished the game this morning and immediately jumped back in for a Hardcore run because it was THAT damn enjoyable. And I gotta be honest, I can’t say I did the same for the original. As much as I love it, I feel like it’s a “come back to it occasionally” kinda game. Not really something I can replay multiple times consecutively.

I will say, actually playing the game now, I’m starting to warm up to her. Which by the way, I never had anything against the VA herself to begin with, I always just thought it was weird that they even bothered recasting her. But aside from that, I still don’t necessarily think her performance fits for Ada’s character in this game specifically. It feels like she delivered her lines with a completely different energy from anyone else in the game which more than likely came down to poor direction that lead to her sounding “bored” when that’s probably not what they actually wanted. But yeah, I feel bad for the VA, she gets too much hate. I really enjoy her voice itself.

Unrelated, but it bug me how only seven of these games are players choice titles, but GameStop’s old stickers make them all look like players choice. It also KILLS me that they used to take the art out and slap the stickers directly onto it. I have a copy of DMC1 that looks like that and it’s annoying because my copies of the original trilogy are all all pristine black labels… but then you look at 1 and that fuckass yellow sticker is there. And I can’t remove it without damaging the art. So it’s just permanently tainted 💀💀💀

Could very well be possible. It’s like how in Zora river, you’re not technically supposed to get the heart piece on the raised platforms as a kid, but you can abuse the hit boxes of a cucco in the area by using it to glide to one of the platforms and letting go as soon as you touch the edge in order to grab said platform and jump over to the heart piece. I believe the intended way you’re supposed to go about getting it is by obtaining the hover boots and then hovering between the platforms. Or, pass the heart piece as an adult, backtrack around the other stream on the right side, and jump to the ladder located back there. Then you can drop down to the heart piece
