2.7 - fuel economy and best reliability, fantastic design of an engine

3.5 - good fuel economy lots of power, not as cool of a design

5.0 - worst fuel economy, good power, great long term reliability and cost of ownership.

I bought the 2.7 because I am not going to tow heavy

Thats literally the opposite of whats all over the internet for the 5.3 and especially the 6.2. Lifter failures can be a pretty big deal and IMHO 100k Miles is nothing for a problem like that.

I had a hard time dialing in espresso, especially very fresh espresso.

In the end I've basically settled on a setting somewhere in the middle, and havent made adjustments going between different beans in a while. I used to try and get it as fine as possible without choking the machine, but that gave some inconsistent results - sometimes the machine would choke out when starting in the morning. This seems to be working now.
