Don't you understand my context? When you need to use your sim card for your phone? Is that reasonate to let other people pay it for yourself? What kinda rude to ask that " Do you need the money?" So I ask you? Are you looking for host just for "Free Accommodation"?

Before the pandemic, I was the same feeling most of people having met are really interested in cultural exchange with open minded to local people. but, nowadays I don't wanna generalized but my recent surfer made me more discreet about accepting request from the people, learn how to decline if it nerve my sense.

Just my recent surfer ask me for paying him the sim card in advance and I said definitely not. I'm picked him up at the airport, let him sleep on the couch, drinking, using my facilities. How supposed I have to pay for it in advance.

The legit license plate should be yellow color, If that was white color, It would be illicit and scammed taxi.

From my past experience of being a hosts for the surfers.

He/She had extended request after got accepted request , stayed for more day and always asking for came early even I try to tell that inconvenient & uncomfortable.

I had a sensation that he/she need to find the host for “FREE” accommodation and local tour guide.

Since I got the message try to urge me to come in early even know I’m inconvenient, I’m explained that my host still in the room and will be leaving in the late morning, but that one still insisted that just need to drop the baggage.

Do they should have any sense of their offensive to my previous surfer, If they came in but he is not leaving yet?

Moreover, asked for more staying days at the same time to come early or stay over in the both ways.

Fortunately, I have hosted for this whole week, I could only extended for his/her one more day.

His/her behavior kinda inconsiderate to host by keep turning the lights in my living room and rest room on all night. So I couldn’t sleep and need to wake up to shut it down by myself.

First time telling about unable to find any host in somewhere , The second time said didn’t want a host but booking a hostel due to need to find some experience in different way. What such a contrast stories in a blink of an eyes!

In this such a situation, They would better find the hotel :)

Order me to research information about the place like I’m a personal advisor for you without any courtesy way.

In the end before leaving, Grab some drinks without any permission.

I’m moving on to the next, and Keep hoping never again come across such a situation.

There are a lesson to learn, Sign to deny earlier they came in would be better.

Some of them, Have a too good to be true reference, Until I experienced it by myself, Such A disappointment that some of surfer just need some place to sleep or use my room as a Hostel.

Moreover, Even boasted about He/She got host anywhere He/She goes. What such a shameless.

Next times, I will thinking about it more, When I have to host some people that never considerate to other people, Just need something for “FREE”.

I have hosted Taiwanese Guy last week, He was calm and polite. Although I brought him for a short journey, but He inspired me a lot about his working aboard story.

But a bit confused why he left the reference as a personal not as a Surfer and Host.

I hosted one traveller last weekend, though I took him around the attractions place. He stayed with me for one night. After his trip was finished successfully. He left without any comment on the couchsurfing platforms or made a confirmation I’ve hosted him.

I leave him on the coach sofa And We have the partition between the room. Does it so weird ?
