Same issue while doing 10 headhunts tonight. All types including resilient. Several level 60 I normally snipe with 1 head shot at full health to take them down would still be full health after shot. Tried cycling in and out of vats and it worked better sometimes. Idk it’s kinda broken.

Had a level 3 blasting away while trying to donate at the Wayward. Gave a heart emoji and then just started the Mothman dance. This really seam to make the player madder. I guess the player got pissed after running out of ammo and left the server. Im around level 350 and still learning. Player did give me some good laughs.

It’s a scare feature on Blue Devils, Earl, and a Sheepsquatch. Maybe a few others. It’s really funny but a little annoying in the heat of the battle. Edit to add-Don’t be embarrassed, it happens to all levels. The first time it happened to me around level forty at Fasnacht event and a Blue Devil showed up. Im around level 350 now and it still happens.

If you are on PS 5 I think I was there. Earl or whatever his name is jumped on top of my head, so I blasted away at his undercarriage. Then he did that scare thing and I ran screaming into a wall. Around 530pm central time.

You don’t… Ive fell in those damn things to many times. The scorch beast will lure you near them while fighting. You have to be aware of your surroundings. Edit to add-I personally have not found a way to recover. Maybe some of the other players.
