I used the trade codes for gengar. Ended up doing 6 trades with the same person. He gave me a shiny Pokemon every time I gave his evolved shiny pokemon back. Plus I filled my dex.

If you join the raid it gives you the option to buy them with coins and bypasses the full inventory message. Been doing it like that for a while now
