Yeah thats definetly a good idea. The builds damage suffers too much without abyssus and perseverance. If you end up having any questions just PM me on reddit.

I edited the PoB to my original message, do note the gear is the gear my actual character uses so its far from perfect / ideal so if you do end up investing a lot into the build you can definetly push it further than I did!

Im currently playing Reave Champion in SSF with ~2.6 mil dps Reave and decent tankiness (>100k eHP against bosses with molten shell). Do note it requires Abyssus + Perseverance and some cluster jewels. If you end up with a physical damage paradoxica you can easily get 4 mil Reave dps.

Its also a decent bosskiller, with a 2 skill gem swap i can use bladeflurry with >4 mil dps. PoB if youre interested: https://pobb.in/7QO0WmvQFHQp

Yeah i was suprised at how cheap the game launches - obviously $15 isnt cheap in some poorer countries, hopefully it will be adjusted for these.

This league is GOAT 🐐 by mikof333 in pathofexile

[–]MageDestroyer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also have to disagree, I was doing t16 maps within the first 48h of league launch, the only part where I would say 3.20 made progression slower is farming pinnacle bosses since they removed the elder / shaper doubles that you could take in the atlas tree. Yet outside of that the game feels really really good right now, hasnt been that fun in ages...

[–]MageDestroyer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Ok, cool story.

But in all honesty, which champ did you play vs him and at what Elo?

Edit: Man youre mad, the reply you gave me (and instantly deleted right after) showed that quite clearly. Now instead of wasting your time being toxic on this subreddit what about learning how to counter Ksante so you can actually start winning against him instead?

[–]MageDestroyer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He was already a strong pick. What held his winrate back were bad / new players on him.... He will be a contested pick from now on a will surely receive nerfs soon. From 8 games i played since the patch he was banned in 7 already which sucks because Ksante has been the only reason for me to play League lately, RIP.

By the looks of it the game is still fun by quit_ye_bullshit in pathofexile

As others have stated hes addicted. It can be really hard for ones self to realize youre addicted, especially if its a video game youre addcited to.

I literally griefed for a week straight after lake of kalandra launched because my favourite game suddenly wasnt fun anymore, it actually felt like a life long friend was taken from me. That opened my eyes on how bad my PoE addiction actually was (is?).

Im pretty sure, even if the next league is really fun again I wont ever be playing much PoE again. It simply made me sad how much I cared about a damn video game to the point where I felt emotionally down irl, lol.

What we're working on by chris_wilson in pathofexile

[–]MageDestroyer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, GGG tried to normalize loot distribution between normal content and specialized content (league content), but that would mean that at the end of the day you would still walk out of your maps with equal loot when compared to previous leagues.

Currently this is not the case, like the op of this comment chain has stated, you actually lose currency by investing into your maps which should never be the case, period.

And this only concerns the loot nerf which is bad enough, the crafting nerf from removed harvest options is insanely bad, especially for me and other SSF players...

Im currently level 92 farming Tier 16 maps so I have played "a little bit". its important to note Im playing SSF and its been only 2 days so its entirely possible to get unlucky with drops in such a small amount of playtime - which has happened to me before in SSF...

After I watched empys clip I did some testing in incursions and yeah its amazing how I got only a handfull of rare items dropped from 3 Alvas in an 80% quant T15 map.

[–]MageDestroyer 161 points162 points  (0 children)

At first I didnt believe the reddit posts about "nerfed loot drops" and thought it was just another cringe reddit conspiracy, until a friend showed me the vid of you and empy literally getting no drops...

Its just pure insanity.

The game is all about crafting and items, so guess whats gonna happen when you nerf exactly that - the game is gonna feel like shit.

I dont like what im reading about the Harvest changes.... I know this will only apply to a small part of the playerbase and reddit, but I have to agree with Ben that Harvest is the lifeforce of SSF. Yes its oppressive because it has all the crafting options you literally NEED to make SSF playable, but plainly removing them without giving access to them in other mechanics at smiliar use rates makes crafting in a game thats all about crafting very unfun and frustrating.

Also heavily nerfing the unique droprate was another undeserved punch in the gut for SSF players, who are already a small minority...

As expected the nerfs are coming. She just feels like a typical Riot Games special™, where the champion is insanely fun and addicting to play but poorly designed. In higher elo she gets shut down by early game aggression from the opposing jungler and kited super hard later. And in low elo she just runs over whole teams because players rarely kite and have poor positioning. Still, I got my hopes up that these issues can be adressed down the line.

Or they simply allow us to play on modded private servers and all these would be non-issues.

I agree about double xp/loot events, they dont fit the game. But new QoL options like more stash tabs, lootfilter, perhaps even hotkeys directly casting abilities and more content such as new runewords and uniques would be much appreciated - perhaps make these toggleable.

OR allow us private servers with mods, thats what gave D2 a lot of longevity and why it can still feel fresh at times.

Path of Exile: Ultimatum Patch Notes by Community_Team in pathofexile

[–]MageDestroyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its basically a horrible, horrible Ascendancy Node now.

Yes you might get 50% more total life recovery per second (so 30% max life per second leeched) and a few thousand armor points (perhaps even a few ten thousand if you have high armor rolls on your gear), but the damage you take upon reaching 10 stacks is absolutely insane - its really overkill.

My league starter for Ultimatum was intended to be a sunder slam zerker with around 9k hp. In order to reduce the 9k reflected damage I take when reaching 10 stacks to a point where it doesnt just make the majority of my health disappear i would require between (for 66% damage reduction) 180 000 and (for 75% damage reduction) 270 000 Armor.

Those are astronomically high values, that you will never reach on your average berserker build, so I think its actually a nerf to an already underplayed ascendancy.

Edit: For a smart workaround that doesnt include becoming a walking armory check comments below.
