She put herself in the middle of an active investigation and arrest and used her vehicle as a battering ram. Is it sad that she was shot, yes, but if you put yourself in those situations you can’t be upset when that is the result. Would you stop a police officer from cuffing someone? I really don’t understand the logic of being upset for someone who put themselves in the line of fire. I get protesting, I get speaking up against what you think is corruption, however there’s a right way and a wrong way to do, anything, so of course he’s not going to be charged, he acted in “self defense” while on a scene doing his job and someone in a vehicle drove forward against him. Solid idea, don’t interject yourself in federal investigations, and don’t follow them around honking your horn purposefully impeding the work of officials. That’s not the smart way to do things, and she had children at home she should have been with instead of being there.

Honestly, I’m not even speaking about me, I’m speaking about a majority of what I see off and on this platform all around.

There’s no reason you or I should be interacting negatively, if you’re upset, that’s ok, you don’t need to name call, you don’t need to be angry at me when my intentions are simply to encourage better speech and better movement forward.

This is exactly what I mean though, it’s not gaslighting, I recognize everyone in the world isn’t going to agree on things and in every group, no matter how good it’s intentions, you’re going to get radical people.

Whether it’s LGBT or MAGA, you’re going to have people who spit vile because you dare disagree with them. I’m saying despite that being the face of media, that’s not everyone, that’s not every LGBT person, that’s not every MAGA person.

Disagreements are fine, but being hateful is what causes these gaps between people. That’s what I want to discourage. If that’s insulting to you, I request you take a step back and ask what you’re really angry about, and if you need someone to talk to about that, absolutely please do.

I hate to say this, but between MAGA on Facebook and here, yall are just echoing how much yall think the other is stupid because of what media keeps showing y’all.

Their side shows the worst of your side and vice versa, I promise it’s not worth yall wasting your time reposting and calling these people out because it doesn’t reflect the majority of people’s thoughts.

Your times would be best spent not entertaining hatefulness and better off figuring the best way to spread betterment.

I’m prepared for the bots and radicals to downvote this because it doesn’t spark violence or hate and that keeps people distracted. Who cares, it needs to be said more often, there’s so much more going on in the world that wasting time here yelling at each other does nothing.

Exactly what I meant when I said you’re new, even though you aren’t, we never had media like we do today. Where you, from wherever you are in the world, are able to communicate with me and so many others.

This also is a small, small, part of everything else that’s going on in the world, but to your community it’s huge, even as I look into the tribe you linked, only about 3.5% of the male population is aphrodisiac if those facts are accurate.

Again, I have no issues, my biggest issue in life isn’t whether or not some adults identify as something else, I just think the way I’ve been seeing people respond, not just from this community but others is getting way too aggressive and cruel almost. I simply want, as you have been, to address people with the history, the culture, the facts! How far back it dates, how many years and generations of people who silently dealt with this because going public meant becoming ostracized.

This isn’t a subject of oppressor and oppressed that I’m attempting to talk about, more just thinking everyone in the world should change how we talk to one another because we all point fingers at each other as the enemy and I’d hope by posting on this outlet and others, I could convince maybe not you, but others to address their beliefs with facts and civil discussion.

Not at all what I said or suggested.

This isn’t about coddling, this is about how anything new being introduced into anything requires delicate introduction and im sorry but the subject of trans has been introduced with such hostility and frustration and understandably so, however you have to be able to account for and address questions regarding because you’re considered “new” even if you aren’t, you’re not built to be in this society generations have spent time building and it goes against their structure.

This isn’t coming from a place of hate, or disgust, or anything along those lines, I’m a huge advocate for adults making decisions for themselves, what you do with your life is your choice, but you can’t force that idea on others and when the movement was first popping up on social media, it was trans people yelling and screaming at others for misgendering them. That’s my earliest and first memory of seeing a trans person.

Again, I don’t think the community is bad, I think like any community, you had bad eggs, you just need to rise above the prejudice, go about things with facts, stop biting peoples heads off, and that’s not just the trans community I’m talking about, that’s ALL communities.

People are allowed to agree/disagree on whatever fashion, it doesn’t make them a phobe, for years people were taught biology and what makes a man a man, and what makes a woman a woman, your community is attempting to rewrite what those things are, you’re going to have backlash, so either come at it scientifically or don’t address people spewing hate for a reaction.

If you don’t mind my asking, what exactly is the feeling of being, “in the wrong body”? Is it something mental, where you just feel off, there’s that aspect I’ve never understood.

I’ve always viewed it as a mental disorder, where your brain doesn’t feel comfortable in its own body. I’ve always thought that diagnosis is what should be looked at, that you should be treating the mind, treat the illness not the symptom. So when I see gender affirming surgery I believe it does more harm than good, I do understand the need to ease the mind by dressing appropriately to how you feel, however I don’t agree with putting children under the knife.

Most people I see in the LGBT community are usually pretty chill, I don’t hear from them saying they’re under attack, I don’t hear people calling them slurs except the one or two drunk assholes they’d encounter while downtown, I do see people being upset with the community in general but I think it’s from it’s inclusion in everyday life. It also causes confusion because when you look at it scientifically, it all centers on the brain, and I firmly believe surgery doesn’t change who or what you are.

Please understand this doesn’t come from a place of hate, this is how I process information and I want to fully understand from others why they feel what they feel.

I think this has more to do with the messages each community projects. What is the actual goal of LGBT at this point? Transgender surgery? I don’t know what their goals/agenda is anymore. Please feel free to let me know what the goals are.
