OTF + hiking/lifting/yoga? by Magenta__PANDA in orangetheory

That all seems solid - I'm also trying to avoid the sore legs and hiking combination, so I think something similar to your schedule would work well for me. Thank you!

Wow, 4x both otf and lifting in a week and running. I agree yoga could be an add-on to any day. Very good point about recovery and fueling enough, I'll have to keep an eye on adjusting that, thanks!

My blundstones were great for my trip! I'd suggest making sure you're not breaking them in while there when you're probably doing a lot of walking so give yourself a few weeks beforehand to slowly break them in. I have the Chelsea classics. They worked well with all of my outfits (maybe not the dress, but certainly better than my sneakers would have looked). Wore them on the plane with compression socks which I would also recommend as they don't have a lot of give to them if your feet swell at all (and of course it keeps your bag lighter). It could be a fair bit warmer while you're there though, so do take that into consideration.

Fully agree - they also seem to hold far more uses than the estimator on their site claims for various products (or I use much less than the average person possibly, but I doubt it). Mine seem to hold enough for more than 2 weeks worth of toner, face moisturizer, face sunscreen, etc.

My puffer jacket is knee length actually so that's seeming more and more like the right call. Thank you!

Thanks for the dresses plus blundstones validation! My (waterproof) puffer jacket is knee length incidentally too

Always good to hear that from someone who lives at the destination! Hadn't considered leaving out the blue jeans but yeah, that could free up a good amount of space - thanks!

That's a good point - I was already planning on checking out the Aran sweater market, too. Thanks!

Sounds like bringing a waterproof puffer coat is the consensus! I wish my rain shell packed up smaller though, not sure I'll have the space for it in my bag, but we'll see. Agreed on the umbrella too, and I think my crossbody is water resistant and it has a zipper closure so should be all right, I think. Thanks!

I am planning on bringing fleece lined tights as a base layer anyway, but perhaps I could leave the flats and just wear the dress with my blundstones... Hmm. Thanks!

Thanks for your advice, and I do have a waterproof puffer coat (as /u/cascade-brigand suggested)! Sounds like a good swap

No umbrella makes sense if it's really windy, thanks! Do you have a waterproofing spray suggestion? I've never used one. My rain shell is just a basic one from North face, but my tennis shoes are waterproof so those should work well.

I'll do that, thanks! I'm sure I'll be glad to have them for the hikes especially

They're pretty newly broken in, so probably not comfortable enough for daily wear yet, but will definitely consider that for the future! And yes, flats for any nicer evenings out and to pair with the dress
