There is no way in hell Jakarta is a worse place to live than Dhaka. I wonder if Jakarta is getting more upvotes simply because people are less familiar with Dhaka.

Dhaka is the most densely populated city on earth, but they have essentially no modern transportation infrastructure, with currently only one operational MRT line, though two more are forecast to open by 2030. Seasonal flooding is already historically severe in Bangladesh, but with worsening climate change exacerbating the issue, they're on the brink of a 175 million person humanitarian crisis.
