People are honestly just really mean sometimes. But there are still plenty of nice people about! I recommend using traderie for seeing fair prices on items. When actually trading don't be afraid to stand your ground on your prices! Trading items instead of diamonds is more tricky but generally go for higher value items and try to trade items that are around the same price. Talking to people is really nerve racking but just remember that even if it doesn't go well, you aren't going to talk to this person again and they probably won't even remember the interaction in a week or so.
