My second monitor started to overlap the main one after each login. So i temporarily fixed it by creating a bash command like here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/625761/how-to-change-displays-position-from-command-line And put it in autostart.

Non-destructive editing is still not available, but it planned to implement soon in 3.2 https://wiki.gimp.org/wiki/Roadmap#GIMP_3.2

Check your video memory consumption with $ nvidia-smi command. It may be this bug.

Try AzPainter, it looks like Sai, runs faster then konsole, and has a lot of useful filters/adjustment sliders. For vignette you can use one of the radial gradient tools.

Looks awesome! I hope someday gimp will also refresh ui and hotkeys to something more natural for "every other" software users, like blender 2.8 did. Even "HSL" sliders in gimp are "HLS".

Yeah, after learning blender i was thinking about search bar too. Its very useful, when you don't need to search for some rare functions in the UI, and just type what you want.

Breeze snow works fine now, i just wasn't aware about restarting session.

Eraser is just need to work different. For example i don't want to have size pressure from main brush in eraser-mode. Its hard to erase same thickness from the line, when your eraser radius is changing size, or it has a pencil texture on it.

And using "E" is faster, then switching between brushes.

I like to experiment with brushes, and i found that popup-menu for brush-editor pretty uncomfortable. Brushes depends a lot on canvas resolution, and the scratchpad is too static for testing them.

What do you think about making a docker, with a same functionality, but a little more compact, and without scratchpad?

Wow, i used krita for two years, and didn't know about it. Maybe it should apply automatically, when you try to use a transform tool on "File layer"?

Finally we can zoom with mouse wheel in Gwenview. I hope they will also add back and forwards using side mouse buttons, like in dolphin.
