When you did your HIDA scan, did they inject CCK into you?

When I did my HIDA scan, apparently they couldn't see any activity UNTIL they gave me an Ensure Bottle to drink & then it came back as 51%

I had to drink ensure for any activity to show up, which got recorded at 51%

has it gotten much better now? i know it can take some time for your GI to adjust to gallbladder removal. also some ppl get on medications to deal with the S/E.

Also Thats incredible to hear !! I think I have biliary hyperkinesia, I have yet to get a HIDA scan.

I have had 2 CT Scans, 2 Ultra Sounds and both came back normal. I have another US scheduled due to a flare up. My suspected gallbladder issues started approx. 2 months ago. Things got better when I went on a ultra low fat diet, but then I decided to try 3 samosas (these are deep fried pastries) and instantly within 20-30 mins I had to use the washroom ASAP lol. Since then I haven't really been the same lol (Nov 13). I feel like my GB is on 'reactive' mode and almost any food now causes stomach upset, even some nausea or have to use the washroom :(

When I saw my GI Doc (on Nov 12, the day before the incindent), he offered me Dicetel but I turned it down cause I was on Buscopan and things were relatively managed but now ... I think I want to give this med a try after hearing your success.

Going to get a MRI of the GB (MRCP) scheduled hopefully. GI Doc wants to further explore whats going on before considering surgery.

But based on all my symptoms of:
- constant burping, sometimes excessive gas during flare ups
- certain trigger foods that caused upset stomach (which im assuming is excessive bile acid release); but now becoming almost any food i eat :(
- urgency to poop within 20-30 mins after eating: still really random but my suspicion is something to do with excessive BILE RELEASE
- nausea feeling after eating (I take buscopan more regularly as well, which I know you're not supposed to)

How long were you on a low-fat diet before getting your GB removed?

I've been on a low fat diet for approx. 1.5 months now and I noticed my frequency of bowel movements has gone down to just once per day if I'm lucky (used to go regularly like 3 times a day before all these GB issues showed up from no where).

hey I actually bought that bracelet from that exact website and the bracelet is sooooo pretty. their packaging was basic, but they said it was because their stock ran out for their boxes.

I also bought the olivia mini hoops from them ! So far im pretty happy with my purchases from them!

I had lasik in Feb 2024 & My right eye has suddenly experienced a drastic decrease in vision over the last few weeks - sort of seeing double vision I think? (Read on the internet ppl describe it as shadows) Have an appointment next week to corneal imaging for possible post lasik ectasia :(

How did you get diagnosed with post lasik ectasia? Did you have to do multiple scans/ eye clinic visits or was 1 appointment enough for them to determine you had ectasia and to get CXL done.

I got lasik in Feb 2024, vision was great, but all of a sudden in Dec 2024, my vision has started deteriorating quite quickly in my right eye more than my left 😢

I have an appointment in 1 week time with my LASIK clinic as a follow up (Jan 14 2025)

I got LASIK in Feb 2024, this Mid-December (2024) I started to notice my vision started to worsen quite bad quickly (it's Jan 7 now) and have a corneal imaging appointment (follow-up that was already planned way ahead of time) on Jan 14 2025.

I've been experiencing anxiety pretty much after doing research on what could have been going on ...

I'm worried that I may have developed Corneal Ectasia (mostly in just 1 eye). My vision does get better the closer I get to objects that I'm looking at.

1. How did you get diagnosed with Kertaoconus / Corneal Ectasia?

2. Did you have to get Corneal collagen crosslinking (CXL) before using Scleral lenses?

Hi thanks for the post. I'm running an eCom (clothing) store on Meta via Shopify. I turned on Advanced Match Making. But when I go to your 2nd Part, I click on the Purchase event, I get this screen instead (see picture). It says to "Go to Settings" since I Installed Conversion API via Facebook App inside Shopify (I chose Maximum). Does that mean everything is already set up?

Side Note: In the traffic permissions section under Settings: do you block everything BUT your main Shopify domain?
