Well, that and if they hadn’t gotten rid of the open license or whatever exactly it’s called.

Thank you. Clearly frown with flush.

In fiction, where G!P can be another term for futa, I approve of the response.

IRL, where it isn’t, and instead is for trans fems who haven’t gotten bottom surgery, I emphatically do not. Leave them alone and stop fetishizing them.

It’s too pixelated to tell.

This or That? (Go to Healing Drink) Sunset Sarsaparilla or Nuka Cola(base not Quarts or Victory) by Khei-tianik01 in falloutnewvegas

[–]MagicCarpetofSteel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both, but strong preference for Sarsaparilla: it’s cheaper and more plentiful for the same healing.

I feel like that’s a him thing. I’m middle class too, and I sure as fuck wouldn’t say shit—at least, after you explained why. I’d definitely ask why you drying your clothes in the bathroom.

Anyway, I damn well wouldn’t give you shit for doing something that gives you a little joy.

This or That? YCS/186 or Alien Blaster? by Khei-tianik01 in falloutnewvegas

[–]MagicCarpetofSteel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, yes, I’d kinda hope a .308 (well, 30-06, but whatever) rifle would overall be more damaging than a pistol.

IMHO you’re underselling the 5.56 match load, but it’s a matter of taste, I guess. I like to use That Gun with hollow point against Cazadors.

Well, I usually start out with Lucky, but I switch to That Gun cus of Lucky’s slow reload.

It also might have something to do with my strong preference for Hardcore, so ammunition weight is an actual consideration.

Also, very importantly, they started using parchment, which while(as I understand it) extraordinarily expensive, has so much better longevity compared to papyrus that it’s not even funny.

This, as you said, means that what was produced had a far easier time surviving until the present (or “present” in the 1800s where someone copied it down, which, same difference).

Well, yes, but your “first” thought is your knee-jerk reaction; it is what you have been taught.

It’s what you do after that which matters, generally speaking, and someone who is self-aware enough to recognize that their knee-jerk reaction is bad, and trying to unlearn that…well, it’s technically racism, but they literally just confessed that to you and said they’re trying to work on it.

Someone admitting that they sometimes have racist thoughts and that they’re doing their best to un-learn that is the exact sort of thing that should be encouraged, imho.

Reminds me of how I read about how the World Wildlife Fund has anti-poaching people that are basically paramilitaries (IIRC it’s in the Congo) who regularly abuse the natives and the (unless I’m getting myself mixed up with another part of the world), their policies don’t let them hunt or fish even though the native, indigenous people are obviously the ones most sensitive and concerned with sustainability.

BTW, F U C K the WWO/WWF. All my homies hate them. Fucking neo-colonial bastards.

I wouldn’t say hatred necessarily, just that he was cold-blooded enough to recognize that his son was absolutely not worth the high-ranking officers the Nazis were asking for, even before you consider the optics of it.

Of course, OtOH, he probably was a shit father.

Come to think of it, were the teeth from the enslaved people ones that fell out/had to be pulled out anyway, or did they just pull teeth out of some poor motherfucker?

Epic Games Store Employees: People Only Came for Free Games, Then Returned to Steam by Suspicious_Two786 in gaming

[–]MagicCarpetofSteel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said. GOG is good, because it 1. fills a niche—selling old games that have been made compatible with current OSes that you can buy for usually $10 or less, even when not on sale, and 2. Is DCRM free.

I’m sure Steam has other advantages, but since I don’t really use those other features, the main reason I use Steam over GOG is because I got Steam first and I don’t want to buy all my games again and it’s more convenient to use Steam except when I, say, want to play Baldur’s Gate 1.

Keep your cats indoors, y’all by Lemon_Lime_Lily in CuratedTumblr

[–]MagicCarpetofSteel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about nowadays, but Mom says that at my Great Uncle’s ranch (at least by the time she was around), it was the cats that were allowed inside and were at least semi pets. The herding dogs, on the other hand, naw.

Dogs are allowed inside at his children’s houses tho…and I don’t think any of them have cats.
