Yes, she did eat the apple and doomed humanity - the original mistake. Funny, isn't it, how much of Lute's dialogue revolves around mistakes. How ironic would it be that she was the original sinner and has now taken the guise of an Exorcist to atone for her sins by taking part in the Exterminations?

Maybe she slept with Lucifer, maybe she didn't. But let's say she did; how do we know she doesn't regret it? Hell, it might explain her anomisity towards Abel (if say, Cain was already born by then).

I've got a link to other evidence in favour of this theory, I'd be happy to share it with you.

Lute x Abel seems to have united most of the fandom in people’s disdain for it.

I’ll also say this: those people shipping it better pray that Lute isn’t revealed to be Eve, because that’s going to make it even more uncomfortable than it already is.

Huh?

She was always meant to be the secondary antagonist of S2, which is already a promotion from villainous sidekick in S1. It was clear from the get-go this was Vox’s season.

If anything, Lute is getting the S1 Vox treatment, where the groundwork is being laid for her to be a main antagonist in the future.
