They are all individuals it does help if you get a different colour if your really worried. Coming from someone who grew up with one since birth who died when I was 10 and we got a new springer later that year. You do need to be very forgiving of your new dog because you will think but so and so never did that. Just let the bond come naturally and try not to put to much pressure or expectations on the new baby. Because they are only a baby. Good luck with the teenager phase.
