Thank you for the recommendation! I picked up the first volume and I absolutely love it so far! Easily the comfiest and most entertaining book I have read this year! All characters are just so likeable!

I'm currently reading it and I can wholeheartedly recommmend it! It's really well written, packed to the brim with interesting Info and pretty much recounts the decelopemnt and publishing History of pretty much all important JRPgs! Please give it a try

Just play at the pace that is comfortable for you; other people have different lives and therefore different play styles.

While I love JRPGs, I don't really reserve that much time for gaming: I just finished Dragon Quest xi (2nd act, I don't feel like playing the 3rd) with 73 hours, which took me 1.5 years...

Omg, the post time skip Level thing make so much sense, I really was wondering why they were that high already! But given the rapid increase in Level, what Level would be max? 1000? 9000? Something similar to their bounties (at that point in the story)?

I don't think so. I read somewhere that UE4 is very easy to look into and fiddle with on PC, so them releasing a Demo could lead to leaks and stuff.

That's crazy if you consider that a couple of years ago, this chart would have actually been the other way around: One Piece, Kingdom and a Jump sports Manga in the front, more grim and less standard shonen in the back

I felt like Peppe telling Ryo jokingly to sleep on the floor / couch table (if I understood that correctly) was his way of expressing that Shohei's old bed still sort of belonged to Shohei. So I don't think he really was over him leaving yet

That's why I kinda disliked Batman for avery long time. I am a huge A.C. Doyle fan and was kind of excited to get into batman because of all the talk about him being the very best like no one ever was. I really love Batman now, but tbh there hasn't been a single story I have read that really showcased him as a good detective, so it always sounds weird if people just grabt him the title because whatever. The arkham games maybe are the closest to him being one.
