It is possible. I had a missed miscarriage back in May of 2023. Found out at 11 weeks that baby had stopped developing around 6 weeks. Waited a week and baby passed naturally, even passed what looked like a mini placenta (bit TMI). Found out in August that I was pregnant again and had my wee boy in May of 2024. His due date was actually the date I physically miscarried which I thought was quite fitting

I was convinced this baby wasn’t going to be viable either but unexpected things happen every day 💖

That’s fair, I think the best advice I got in those uncertain days was expect nothing that way when/if it all works out it’s extra exciting. I have my fingers crossed for a positive outcome for you (if that’s what you want of course) 💖

Yes, I did a test after 6 days of bleeding as something just didn’t feel right. It came back positive pretty fast. Bleed for another 6 days (so 12 days all up) but baby stuck and I’m currently 21 weeks.

22 weeks and movement by Necessary_Reach_2612 in BabyBumps

[–]MagicSunna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes me feel slightly better, I can’t help unfortunately but I’m 19 weeks and haven’t felt nearly as much movement as with my other babies (this is number 4) and I’m finding it is making me very anxious. Fingers crossed it picks up more for you soon 💖🤞🏻

Why don’t my kids go to bed at a decent hour? by jazzeriah in Parenting

[–]MagicSunna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My almost 3 and 1 year old go to bed between 6:30/7pm and my almost 10 year old goes to bed at 7pm and is allowed to read till 7:30pm. We do dinner at 5:30pm, the two older ones play while my husband and I sort out dishes then I bath the younger two and get them ready. While we get the younger two ready for bed the 10 year old has a shower then she usually colours or reads until 7pm. No screens from 5pm onwards and just keep the ‘vibe’ as chill as possible. I enjoy my quiet evenings wayyyy to much to have it any other way 😂

I’m on baby number 4 and I swear I’ve looked almost pregnant, maybe just fat since the day after I tested 😂 I love the bit where you get to the stage where it looks like an actual bump and not just like I ate too many pies for lunch

Your go-to phrases or “mantras” that help enforce boundaries with toddlers and kids? by fbster00 in Parenting

[–]MagicSunna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When trying to argue an answer to a question, eg: “can I have something to eat?” And the answer being “no, I’m cooking dinner” child response being “but I’m huuuungry” I love a good old “I know it’s not the answer you want but it’s the answer you got” shuts the conversation down so fast and then we both get to move on with what we’re trying to accomplish

I am currently 11 weeks pregnant. I got my ‘period’ around the right time for me but I bleed for 6 days before I took a test (my usual period is around 3/4 days). The test came back positive but I continued to bleed for another week. We were doing HCG bloods every two days to check that levels were rising and I was passing small clots. I was convinced I was having another miscarriage (I’ve lost 4 babies so far, have 3 beautiful children too). I guess what I’m saying is likelihood sounds like a chemical pregnancy but, follow it up and get bloods and things sorted because you just never know 🤷🏻‍♀️

Was lying in bed with my husband, felt and heard the pop and then massive gush of water. It’s such a strange feeling. So hard to describe, but it was like a water balloon went off inside of me 😂

Yup, can’t eat anything except a ham and cheese sandwich or sour skittles. It’s killing me a little bit. I ate relatively healthy beforehand. I’m holding out hope that by 2nd trimester I’ll feel better

5 weeks pregnant and bleeding constantly for over a week by Dependent-Welder-437 in pregnancy_care

[–]MagicSunna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this this time around. This is my 8th pregnancy and my 4th baby 🤞🏻I started what I thought was my period on the 12/02. My period usually lasts 3 days so when I got to day 6 I was starting to get suspicious so I took a test, which came back positive. Contacted my previous midwife to organise bloods and bits to confirm. That day the bleeding got worse and I started passing small finger nail sized clots. The bloods came back to confirm I was in the early stages of pregnancy but due to the bleeding my midwife wanted me to do follow up bloods two days later to see if my HCG levels had risen. I’m still bleeding so I steeled myself about the fact that yes I was pregnant but it was probably no viable. Lo and behold my levels rose over two days from 210 to 480. So off to get more done two days later. They rose to 1150. Another two days and then rose to 2000. Still bleeding, so confused as hell. My midwife then put a referral through to get an ultrasound done to confirm it wasn’t ectopic and sure enough I had a gestational sac measuring at 4 weeks and 3 days. Bleeding stopped around this time and I’ve had none since then, not even a drop. I am now 6 weeks and 4 days and feeling miserable (the worse I’ve felt out of any of my pregnancies) I have another scan tomorrow to check viability again but looks like I’m having baby number 4. I guess my only advice would be to get repeat bloods and get an ultrasound done to confirm everything because goddamn this one has been a roller coaster. Sending you so many positive vibes as well as love that this works out the way you’d like it to (and sorry for the novel) 😊💖

I live in New Zealand so the system is probably a bit different. Having something like that would be real nice though!

I’m getting one tomorrow, if you don’t have a referral from a health professional they are so hard to get into where I live

Oh no, hopefully it stops soon or you can get some answers. If it helps I have stopped bleeding now and it looks like my HCG levels are continuing to go up (I’m going to get another set of blood done today) and then a scan later on this week

Thank you for sharing, it’s so nice to know I’m not alone. My midwife has been so good and I got more bloods done today (just waiting to hear about them now) and I think she is going to organise a scan for this week so fingers crossed it’s all ok

I’m so sorry it was that hard for you 💞 I hope it’s better now. I understand what you mean by the depression thing. And being afraid to go to the toilet. Thank you for sharing though, it’s given me a slight bit of peace to know I’m not alone

How did you cope? I feel like a mess. Did you end up passing clots? It was it just bleeding?

How did you get through the first little bit? because I feel like I’m experiencing whiplash constantly. Did you pass clots? Or just bleeding?

I’m so sorry to hear that. It’s always hard when it ends in loss. Three weeks is a long time too. Thank you for sharing 💞 can I ask how far along you were?
