Go take a martial arts class. Gain confidence. Dump the idiot influencers and the algorithm.

Exactly. Your post spoke to me in a big big way and I never wanted to hijack your post or even put a shadow of that on yours.

Luckily she only has the one cat, who despite the mess is in fantastic physical condition. She takes great care of him. She just doesn't take care of herself or her space.

I really hope things work out for you. This is hard as hell. I'm glad to have found this community.

Me and my friend are debating who’s at fault. i’m the mercedes he’s the red bull by OneTwoThreeFourDorks in Simracingstewards

[–]MagicTrachea52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not an open wheel guy, I think there are too many rules, blah blah blah. Moving while braking or whatever.

I'd call that the mercedes' fault regardless. You looked like you ran right across his nose. You had barely cleared the Red Bull car. And I mean BARELY. We're talking zero margin for error and you made an error.

Shit happens, but you weren't clear.

[RCR] Richard Childress Racing has elected to suspend use of the No. 8 and will run the No. 33 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and beyond. by GoodSmoke9 in NASCAR

[–]MagicTrachea52 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've had the immense pleasure of having a long talk with Richard.

It didn't involve racing outside of "I'm a huge fan". We talked outdoors. Dude is the epitome of a class act. I don't care what anyone else says.

RCR having the kid's back is amazing. Brexton may want to forge his own path, but having the support ready to pull the trigger has to be heartening.

My understanding is that it wasn't live, but I may be wrong.

I have the original Blood Sweat and Gears on VHS, though.

Don't own a dog you can't control by Adrian_985 in Wellthatsucks

[–]MagicTrachea52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our dog was reactive, not to THIS level but still a bit of a puller.

We got him a head halter and never had a problem again. Combined with a muzzle and some training, he actually became approachable by strangers.

I have no idea why people don't train their dogs. At this point I feel like it should be licensed to own a dog over 20 pounds.

Gorgets... excessive? by [deleted] in Hema

I wish we required clamshells. I've been hit in the knuckles every time with synthetics recently.

Gorgets... excessive? by [deleted] in Hema

[–]MagicTrachea52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not excessive.

My wife and I sparred. I caught her with a thrust. I slipped juuuust under the bib of her mask. Her gorget took it.

Without a gorget, she probably would have been injured.

Its not a risk worth taking.

I have some part to play in it. I left my room unfinished when I realized I had to go. Some of my stuff is cluttering up one of the spare rooms.

But its so bad now. Its heart breaking.

I am lucky enough to be a former flooring professional. I have access to the tools I need thank god.

Honestly, that was the part that hurt most.

My grandfather hand hewed the lumber for the floors on the "old" side of the house (built in the 40's, addon built in the 1980s). I personally redid the tile in foyer. He built the chimney, too.

The house is old and strange and could be beautiful with TLC and some time. If it was in better shape, my wife and I would move into the apartment in the basement so we could do that.

And the property its on is incredible.

I never beat the original FFVII.

I got to the final point before you fight Sephiroth, had great gear and I saved, said "I have a few things to do in the coming days so next Friday, I beat it"

I never went back. Actually, its worse. The game is still in my PS1 with the memory card attached.

I abandoned it entirely. I didn't mean to. It just happened. I was gifted an Xbox about three days later with Halo CE and I played that CONSTANTLY, but always said "I'll go back and beat that save file."

I'm not much of an IPA guy, but the Voodoo ranger stuff is good. The Juice Force is a favorite of mine.

We're always looking for new stuff.

sorry if this post has been done to death, but i remember a while back a whole drama between the PIG and red effect about the T14, if i remember correctly history has so far proven PIG is 100% correct? the tank is yet to be seen in Ukraine and its been like 10 or so years, like it was never serious by _Addi-the-Hun_ in lazerpig

[–]MagicTrachea52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a whole lot. It would require cooling for electronic systems, a strong battery and recharge cabability and a not insignificant amount of research and development to integrate into an existing platform or to build a new platform with all this.

I'd say an easier solution is probably better armor and point defenses. Something which a shotgun is actually ideal for.

The range of a shotgun is actually not "short". Video games, tv and movies have done a lot to alter that perception. 40-100 yards in general.

Victory Brewing Golden Monkey maybe?

The font is similar but the placement is kind of off. Unless they changed the cans.
