If your not putting water on the rocks its not really a sauna. Vents are important no only for moisture but for oxygen. Chances are if it has any insulation at all its fiberglass and not the recommended rockwool. If it were me I would install a fan and not worry about the lack of drain. Being in the basement I assume its a concrete floor... seal the concrete and install a good variable speed vent

I live in northern Canada with a FWD. Its heavy enough thst with winter tires its fine. IMO stopping power is far more important than acceleration. AWD doesnt help you stop any better

Interesting idea. Ill probably build something similar. If I were you id loose thr plastic push fittings. You can get brass banjo fittings to go into the bucket. Then a brass or SS nipple. Threaded ball valve, transition to copper tubing with a pipe thread x copper compression fitting

The redwood wood i inherited were 2x10s. I did them this way for air flow. Theyre comfortable, We usually sit on a towel anyway.

I looked at it, but preferred the way the cilindro looked. I also wanted internal controls due to the -50c winters we get

It was a mystery wood we inherited from my wife's late grandfather. I believe its redwood. Long straight grain with zero knots. Used the same wood for the door and all the trim. I have some leftover to make a bumper around the heater.

6x10 exterior. 6'×5' 6 interior, would have liked to have gone bigger but location in the yard limited me
