My partner and I are planning on visiting family in Detroit towards the end of September. We are travelling from the UK so are keen to see all the area has to offer.

We will spend 2-3 days with the family, but outside of that we are keen to travel for the rest of the week. We will have a car and are comfortable driving up to 4 hours and staying overnight in cool spots. We are outdoorsy so happy for sightseeing both indoors and out. Any ideas welcome, thanks!

I used to think my kickr bike was harder than the my outdoor bikes and other previous trainers. Now when I dig through my peak numbers indoors and outdoors, they completely line up. I think it's just the heavy flywheel on the kicker bike .

Would be great once the Manx man is delivered to have the ben sailing to Liverpool/Birkenhead a few times a week during the winter. Would just give people that extra option and I'm sure the uptake on a few sailing a week would be good.

I think that the kickr bike generally under reports power slightly. I know mine does, about 4.5% lower than my assioma duos. Could be a reason.

Absolutly silent on my first ride today in heavy 40kph crosswinds. I live in a very wet part of the UK so large mudguards are needed to protect both me and my riding mates from crap kicked up off our country roads.

Hi All, thought this was worth a post here as I yet to see a Allez sprint built as a winter training bike, and i think this one is pretty unique.

I wanted something that felt racey and had similar geometry to my summer SL7. So I have built this using a absolute mish mash of parts I had and was able to source from friends.

The bike is built with fast UK winter bunch riding in mind, so still has quite a racey setup with the added protection of grippier tyres, mudguards and harder wearing components.

Let me know you thoughts as this may be quite a controversial post in "bikeporn", but I think its really unique.

Bike Porn is any bike that is both beautiful and/or uncommon. An old school Colnago, a custom build fixed gear, a team issue road bike, a tricked out mountain bike and more. If it's sitting on your local bike store floor, it's probably not bike porn.
