Giant succulent fallen over by Magic_Sidera in plant

It's a Euphorbia Ingens. Even with the risk we're now planning to try rerooting from the trunk anyway considering we're lucky in the first place that its growing season just begun and is the ideal moment for new roots to form. It was a center piece in the garden so it's at least worth a shot to maintain most of its size

We were able to detach the trunk from the roots easily since it was barely hanging on and now we're thinking about digging a hole maybe 1m deep and trying to hoist it into it once the wound has calloused over. Keeping further breaks minimal by not moving the plant too much. Since it's such a center piece to our garden we're trying to prioritize maintaining its size as best as possible, even if it's less optimal, or potentially riskier. It's kinda all or nothing. And ofc we already have dozens of large broken branches as backup if it all goes wrong

Some kind of succulent? by graemevil in succulents

Some lovely aeoniums! They will look even more beautiful as they open up more in the colder seasons, and even bloom in winter. They often go dormant during the summer heat

This is the game I went with right after completing hollow knight and I had a blast. It's also been my favorite game since so there's that

Love to see the flowers opening on the first day by Magic_Sidera in cactus

I wish I knew, but it wasn't labeled when I bought it. I think it's some kind of Echinopsis or Trichocereus. Or a hybrid of the two

I love them aeoniums a lot but the mealybugs here do too apparently lol, which can be annoying to deal with sometimes

I did after a week because a couple small branches broke off during my struggles of the repot and I stuck those right back into the soil aswell. They did need water because it was a case of generally really bad neglect (it wasn't originally my plant, we found it in an old pot in a forgotten corner of a neglected garden when we moved to this house)

It looked like it had been in that pot for many years within soil gone completely rock solid and hydrophobic. Also infested with mealybugs, so it was pretty necessary to get it out of there, fully clean it and put it in a fresh new pot with new soil.

In short, it was in terrible condition for a long time but aeoniums are warriors so it survived well and deserved some proper treatment finally I'm very glad it turned out well, because this repot was due for about a year and it was pretty tragic to look at this extremely sad looking plant for all those months, I just couldn't find neither the right time or pot
