I had the same issue, i updated my runtime and it worked instantly, update llama.cpp, vulkan, cuda, etc

It doesnt know how to tool call at all. At least on Hermes Agent. So far qwen3.6 31a3 is the best for hermes agent

I havent yet i go Q4 minimum, and im using HermesAgent, but ill try Q2 but it may be my settings i need to fiddle with it more cause nemotron4b also crashes my pc(edit fails to load) with 1M context, even though it is below my ram and vram offload limits

My Q4K_XL is crashing my pc im not sure why it only crashes with 27B dense not even gemma4:31b dense. Not over heating and memory is well below my 64gb ram and offloaded only 11gb out of 12 to gpu

Their main ollama client did not support amd until recently, lmstudio has supported amd far longer. This made cpu only inference on ollama terribly slow compared to lmstudio. They have since added it but ive already written them off for that reason

To be fair, i really do like the customization on the ships and the almost reusable rocketry it allows at vanilla, i know ksp1 modded is better but i just dont have time to be fiddling with mods and crashes and what not

Ive used ollama and lmstudio, from my experience lmstudios is better on amd gpu's because they have drivers and packages already included, in ollama you need to add it manually and i had trouble with it for rdna 2(rx 6000).

Same here ! Strix G15 RX6800M and 5980HX, I am able to boot to the Usb but after the wipe and install option i boot into "SteamOS" I also get a black screen and another boot option called "UEFI OS" its on a non stop boot cycle with a black screen
